I'm constantly under-leveled for zones, and occasionally can't continue the quest line without extra grinding because I have to be a level or two higher to accept the next quest.
When did the definition of "loot ninja" get changed from "the guy who grabs up loot before anyone else gets a chance to even see what it is" to "the guy who wins the loot fair and square with a random roll"? I mean, it's all well and good to arbitrarily decide one person's need is greater than another's based on their…
"Ranked 3rd out of hundreds is unpopular" an idea from the same brilliant minds that brought us "If a game gets less than 8/10 in reviews it's horrible!"
I deleted mine at level 38 for a few reasons... The heals were disappointing. A single Healing Word would often grab all or most of the aggro away from my party even with my reduced threat. Not enough damage to make up for the aggro, and the disappointing heals are even more disappointing in how they affect the cleric…
Besides which, if the first several dungeons are anything to go by, there'll likely be more than enough trash to kill during the boss fight to get one's fill of trash slaying.
There should be nothing to continually fix, the keymapping interface just needs to detect controller inputs. It's randomly replaced one of my mappings with Joy7 before, so I know it *can* accept controller inputs.
Controllers are a rather standard device these days. It's sheer pigheaded pugnacity to not support them directly. Mind you, many developers seem clueless about the darn things so that even when they include support they leave off basic abilities such as mapping commands to a combination of buttons rather than a single…
If you're getting significant XP from Invoking and you're leveling too fast for your taste, stop Invoking. ;) I rarely get significant XP from Invoking - usually less than 1000 when I get any at all. And I don't do Daily Foundries (except when I'm forced to grind levels to continue the quest line) or anything that involves…
Can we have a x2 XP toggle, I'm leveling too slow. I often find that I'm below the level of the zone the quest line is in (by enough to get a warning upon entering the zone) and occasionally can't continue the quest line until I grind a level or two because the quest requires me to be a certain level to accept it.
I think I'll lose about 15 minutes of gameplay. I logged on and started playing and then the servers mysteriously shut down. I didn't hear about all the exploit nonsense until afterward.
You can submit bugs and requests for GM help in-game. Is that substantially different from submitting a "ticket"? Having a number or seeing your name on it doesn't make it any more likely it will get addressed.
It seems to me that if people are spending real money on per-character items in the Zen store, that wiping out the characters and those items would be a very bad idea.
It'd be nice if it supported it inherently (and I know it can, given that it has randomly changed one of my keybinds in the keybind menu to Joy7). Currently, I'm playing with a controller using Joy2Key.
The effect is that I'm more annoyed by the boxes and if there was even the slightest chance I'd gamble away Zen on random nonsense it got killed by the annoyance. Is it tied to the notification box while rearranging the HUD? If so that might offer a means to lessen the annoyance...
I'm eagerly awaiting it myself. I have a preference for bows/crossbows in fantasy games. And all the NPCs running around with bows are making me a sad and bowless panda.
For example, if you could buy an item to immediately max your level and provide you with level appropriate gear that might be considered "pay to win" regardless of the fact that you could max your level just by playing the game.
In real life I may, in fact, remark upon things that are ridiculously priced. People in general tend to do so for various reasons - whether it's about the War between the Haves and Have-Nots or the general irritation over, say, the rising price of gasoline. It is far better to complain for little to no reason (or what…
As someone who personally avoids PVP like it's a more virulent plague than unregulated player markets (which I've never had the same luck exploiting that others have, so call my distaste for them sour grapes if you like), when I make complaints in the vein of "pay to win" it's about accessibility, convenience, and not…
I've yet to meet a crafting system that I liked. The materials and recipes involved tend to present enough of an irritating barrier, but I think I like this rigid time barrier that quickly spans into hours even less.
I've been using the Foundry to close the gap from level 18-20 when I run out of missions. Personally, I would prefer if the quest lines provided enough XP to keep up with their progression (especially since the quest rewards are level locked and I'm consistently unable to use them for 1-4 levels), but as long as I keep…
