You have to be more specific. The Guardian works alright at certain levels but then begins to lag behind the other classes in the mid levels. Solo is especially painful if you don't have the spec for it. I'm wouldn't say the class is unplayable or useless, it just seems like other classes are much better and I'm not sure…

This statement makes me very sad as it runs counter to what I'd expect from a tank in PvP.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like the class is very flushed out. I've been playing one for about 30 levels and I'm seriously thinking about just switching to cleric until they iron tanking out more.

This isn't really a good argument. The fact that a class becomes useful and necessary at high level does not make it alright for them to be underpowered at low level. "Well, just keep investing time and it will pay off later." Isn't a good way to design your classes.
