I definitely had to jump over the wall to circumvent the wooden wall barrier. It wouldn't open and I couldn't see any trigger in that area. It's possible I just didn't see it, but if it was above me somewhere that might explain it. One other things, earlier in the quest I had jumped over a rock in the caves and fell down…
I was attempting to review the quest, however, in the mine, the guard fight behind the wooden gate bugged. The gate wouldn't open, so I had to jump over a wall to get into the fight area, then found that the Siegebreaker Ogre was trapped behind the geometry where nobody could attack him. He ran around randomly behind the…
I've added a lot of details to help flesh out the environments, along with a few intermediate objectives. Overall the quest has had a lot added since its first reviews to flesh out the story and add feature moments in between the combat sections. Even though I didn't receive much criticism on pacing, it feels much more…
I'm sorry you're so worked up about all this, and I wonder why you feel it's appropriate to use this thread as a vehicle to vent about criticism you don't agree with. Nobody else has done so, so I'm not sure why you feel it right to take over. I'm not going to respond further here as it's not the correct thing to do in a…
If you're going to give low ratings to quests, you should be ready and willing to have your work reviewed with a similar perspective. Stacking multiple giants with chain CC effects (your quest) is a lot harder than 1 Hexer and a 3-pack of Kobolds (my quest). I don't know how you can possibly die to mine 5 times and not…
Or, as I'm thinking, they took an internal quest design toolset, stripped it way down, put it through some testing to get the netcode "running" and shipped it. They clearly don't put a lot of resources towards fixing feature-breaking problems at this point, but hopefully it will improve.
I'd like to add mine too! Should be under the time limit. It's searchable, but I've included the short code. A Piece of Pie NW-DTLZ3VNHR While I don't mob stack, there are patrols, so running in may cause extra pulls. Just looking through my reviews I realize you already reviewed it... well if it still counts for this…
Added one more objective to Alais in order to extend the length of the quest, trying to get it to 15-18m length. Just a few more reviews and I can submit for Foundry - let me know if you want to trade reviews.
I can see the point, but if the player can't handle two groups of Kobolds, they may have problems elsewhere. I think I'm used to MMOs where you have to be cautious about too many enemies, so waiting a few seconds for a patrol is natural. Also, some feedback I've been getting lately is that it's too easy, while some say the…
GF's deal way too much burst damage. Rogues deal way too much damage in perma-stealth. GWFs are way too tough. CWs are way too buggy. That's pvp right now.
The difficulty may make some people eat humble pie. I didn't find it too bad personally... would like more diverse class opinions, especially high level DCs
Thanks for the reviews and feedback so far. I've gone and made a number of adjustments, mostly scripting a new event with Tom to create a little more character. Notes: -Adjusted mob positions in several places to make ambushes more visible / fair -Added dynamic lights to Firestarters -Added a new interaction with Tom to…
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate people taking a minute to play and respond. FYI, there are no stacked encounters in the quest, except for the very first, which is 2 standard / mixed encounters. You do get 2 guard NPCs to help your side that should aggro everything first. However, there are a number of patrols and…
I've never had a queue group without a DC. In fact I've never wiped except for the one instance I didn't finish, and one other group where our DC disconnected and we finished with 4 people and potions. Mad Dragon would definitely be harder at level - my group had a tank above level for the quest which definitely helped.…
I've finished every 5-man dungeon as I leveled up with random groups, except Grey Wolf Den. We wiped 4 or 5 times, I would get lagged into AEs, it was a mess, but that's fine. The rest have been totally smooth runs from beginning to end. If you're admittedly getting hit by AEs and not playing up to par, realize you're 20%…
