Just make it so that people can't be kicked during fights and loot rolls, and make it a vote while we're at it... Most of the problems this game has can be solved by looking at how other mmorpgs solved that very same problem...
The problem, in my opinion, isn't the reduced self heals, it's the aggro mechanics. In TERA, I play a priest, and most of a priests heals, including the heaviest one, don't work on yourself, your self heal had a 5 sec cd, so you don't really have as many tools to keep yourself alive as to keep others alive. Yet it works…
