also we think it has to do with everyone cramming up at the gate. have 1 person be near the final gate to activate it and have everyone else hang back.
Imagine the Psion class like this... Jedi force push...EVERYWHERE. Its a great deal of fun. Just instead of channeling arcane power they are using sheer force of will to cause 'magic' If you fit that into any setting where the world sees it as strange magic.. then its good. I made a psion recently who I loved dearly but…
its not just boots. I keep finding drops that do the same thing for my wizard. I played a foundry quest and it gave me a really nice item with no 'class requirment' so I couldnt even use it.
Thanks for letting me know.. its a d10 system right? Anyhow I think I still have the character sheet somewhere. Anyhow... It wasnt a critical miss table. Apparently shooting a crossbow into a protective elfin grove makes the bolt turn around and come back at you. The dragonling humanoid was a statue at the time and we…
I'm actually building a villain for my players to come across in my campaign.. Who feels like helping me create a crazy thing for them to uncover?... think Quantum of Solace type organization.
honestly, It is still going strong, but I think the game hasn't aged particularly well. I'm working with a friend to write up a "How has it held up" type review. I can post the link of the final review on our blog when we're done if you'd like. High end is sadly still locked behind hours of meaningless grinding +…
I did some more digging and I remembered that I had indeed played a few characters before that one, honestly. They weren't thought out or have any personalities of note. There was a game I played called Rune "something".... back in middle school. I had a Knight who worshiped the Silent God. Basically I was a Knight…
I don't remember my first exactly. Back in high school we made an awful attempt at a tabletop game.. during lunch.. with no table.. or character sheets really. But I do remember my first constructed and seriously thought out character. It was a couple of years ago when I made him for 4th edition. Xordan- the razorclaw…
Honestly, the levels weren't what bothered me. And you are correct DDO did change how their system worked. But the big stuff, like feats and new abilities were limited to levels as opposed to the enhancement points you get per level. I'm not coming to neverwinter expecting a 'Tabletop feel'. I have actual table top games…
Actually I wasn't aware of that. Thanks. My point still remains a bit valid. I admit though the idea of high levels makes me a bit sad. Levels in tabletop meant something. So having a the upper half of 100 these days makes levels somewhat... meaningless. Granted this is all dependent on how they determine the value of…
Ah well thanks for answering my second question. I can understand the hesitation to release information that is not public yet. My quest was probably a bit unclear to be fair. I am an actual dnd player and I've been really concerned with the level of hand holding/easy mode type of mentality that is shown in the development…
Question: During the upcoming Beta weekend are you planning on toning down the pace of the leveling system? I was not in it but I did watch the first look by mmohut and by the end of the tutorial segment.. which was not long. He was already several levels into the game. Question: Will foundry be run as a separate…
