As it stands now, SWTOR allows for mounts at quite an early level. 16 or 10 (depending on whether you purchase a starter's pack in the store.)

One of the classes I hope will make it into the game later, is a Great-Weapon Barbarian. Preferably with the Warforged race (but alas, this isn't Eberron.)
