Nvm, problem solved by a genius in the Tech section (username hoperuby, to give them all credit) who said: "Try going in the launcher command line and write -d3d11enable 1 " Mine said -d3d1enable 0 - so I changed the 0 to 1 and I'm in the game.

I also can't use this XP scroll on two of my alts - both just below lvl 70, one a CW, the other a SW. It worked on other toons just fine. So there's a fair spread of classes can't use this so I don't think the problem lies there.

Learning how to turn that feature off was one of the best things I ever did! I don't see the point, tbh. Mine crashes if I'm cheeky enough to try to resize the screen or sometimes even adjust my volume from my keyboard. This has been ever since the Strongholds update.

Excellent! The lvl 60 to 70 mobs fix and reduced vigilance tasks IS in this patch. And hopefully one of the crashes they're resolving will stop my game going down every time I try to resize the screen.

I read this article wondering if there was to be increased difficulty in some mobs - but all I read was about DEcreased HP buffs. I found a way round this problem. When you get into the game, go to Options and under Display, change from fullscreen to windowed maximised. It looks exactly the same as fullscreen but you can ALT TAB out of it without the game crashing - or you can hover your mouse over the top right of the screen to reveal the mimimise…

When I try to log in, I get past the "Cryptic" screen and onto the "Neverwinter" splash screen - but there it hangs up. I have to CTRL, ALT, DEL to get out of it. I keep getting stuck at the splash screen too. It also locks up Windows 7, have to CTRL ALT DEL to get out of it. Ah well. It's nearly midnight here in the UK. I'll try again tomorrow. Have fun all those of you who eventually get in!

I'm having this problem at level 17 to 18 but it's not the daily it wants to use. It's an encounter spell, "Conduit of Ice". No matter where I position this power, if it's loaded to be used, my pots won't work and want to launch that spell instead. The only way I can access my pots is to remove Conduit of Ice altogether.…
