4 weeks now and still silence from the devs. I'm quite shocked that they haven't unstuck anyone even if they haven't fixed the problem. And I'm still waiting for a reply to my ticket I raised 3 weeks ago on this. Get more information from talking to a brick wall than getting anything from the devs. Very dissapointed.
This is hitting a lot of people, it doesn't sound tricky to "unlock" stuck players (although stopping it happening again may be more tricky). I can't believe it's been weeks and not only has this not been fixed but we've heard nothing at all about this from the devs.
Quite a few threads about this in this forum and bug reports. Cancel a task, start a rare one and then cancel it, or just wait until your next task finishes.

They would not be in combat and could reach the fire and click it. Swap around to allow…
For me, it only partially helps me do what I want to do. I want to get to know an area, learn what path goes where and the general map, exploring to find new nooks and cranies, getting to build a general feel of the area, its ambience and vistas, and the NPC's inhabiting it, not just breeze through it in a an hour or two…
I agree with the OP, I found the levelling process too fast. I am not talking about how long elapsed but rather how many hours of game play it takes to get through all the levelling content. I quite enjoy levelling and working my way up to 60, for me I enjoy the journey as much as reaching the end game, but I felt I hit…
Or give everyone a free respec token when they ding 60? I don't overly mind them charging for respecs, however, as you point out, you are learning the game early on and should have at least one chance to make a change once you start to undertand the mechanics better.
