Im a believer in the ls build for sure. The thing I would recommend is to not forget regen and incoming healing as they buff the already insane ls swings you get in this module.
If anything my guess is that it is being scaled to match the ToD encounter drop rates, which could be a good thing as most paladins are going to really need that.
I love this change to traps. It adds a nice option for the devs to design some alternate paths into dungeons that play to different party comps. I don't main a TR, but I hope this opens up future applications of Dungeoneering/Nature Skill/Arcane/Religion to help add some flavor+value to class diversity in dungeons. Im not…
I think from the patch notes its looking like GWF is getting some strong changes that have been asked for: -Base Damage increased (Weapon + Encounters + At-Wills) -Reduced Outgoing Damage from AOE hits has been largely removed. -Better Temp HP -Larger swings from Lifesteal (If you build into it like crit) -Longer Buff…
To me CON>STR=DEX CON is always going to be my primary stat regardless of which path I take when playing a GWF as we are all about taking hits. It funnels directly into the core of our class which is to build determination by taking damage then boosting our DPS/Survivability. The resistance ignored is also key in the new…
Having been around since #2 it seems like #1 is pretty darn accurate for the state of things right now. I love the class, its just difficult to do much against all the piercing damage that hoses us down and I reaaallly miss the ability to prone opponents. That extra debuff from an opponent being "proned" seriously helped…
I really like the idea of thematic enchantments. Debuffs are certainly important as well as dps boosting enchantments like Vorpal, but something more on the utility side like frost or holy avenger would be awesome. Something to build around besides damage or debuff would be fun, as it seems people fall into that.
I'm excited to hear about a new class, especially the Paladin. I don't know if this has been said already, but half set bonuses do scale with your level....you can see it on the gateway. A simple way of viewing this is to look at the collections tab with a lower level alt to get an idea of what I'm talking about. It also…
- Guild halls/Player Housing: An interesting social addition, but it would become just another place to afk if there was nothing else to do there. - Marriage: I like the idea of a transmute, similar to the fashion set, but an ingame feature is too loaded politically and roleplayers don't need a feature to roleplay. - 1v1 /…
Regeneration was hit pretty hard by healing depression, however it is still a very important stat for defensive classes as it helps increase the effectiveness of your primary stat: Hitpoints Lifesteal is great and it can account for a significant portion of your incoming healing, but I would go so far as to call it…
I have also noticed a huge spike in the amount of cc that's going on. The sprint mechanic on some classes does a pretty good job of providing immunity, but it just leaves dodge classes high and dry as they are the easiest to catch. To me all of the stuns say: "Go put on your Elven Battle Enchantment Jimmy! Its going to be…
To me this definetely seems as yet another example of why not to overstack any one stat (besides Hp and Power), however I have noticed moments of cc immunity when playing as my halfling GWF. In short I have been hit by proning abilities and simply ignored their effects, besides recieving damage and getting a debuffs…
I completely agree with the comments about the release date on the eve of M4. With that said I will be going back in to update this as it is completely devoid of a section on artifacts and more specifically race selection, plus the SW will need some loving. For me the thing to take away from this primer would be the…
The leaderboard reset seems more like a housekeeping thing more than anything else. The focus really seems to be on the new balancing changes being done, most noticeable being the core changes to the sprint/guard mechanic. Getting CC immunity and a significant DR buff are pretty big changes.
8. Offense Defense and Utility Enchants Right off in this section it is important my stance on split enchants (Enchantments that give more than one stat bonus). Currently the gear that is available provides a solid spread of stats that push either your defensive/offensive stats within a good range of reaching diminishing…
I would think that something akin to a regular, say monthly PVP event would be really quite refreshing. Im liking the idea of using PVE areas as a framework for something like this. If anyone is familiar with "Kill the Leader" gametypes this could be a fun way for players to have a free for all experience that focuses on…
I think that for destroyers this is a great skill as it provides some needed mobility and power increase, but I do feel like Im using this to get out of serious red zones as opposed to being a destroyer, making this feel at least to me more of an instigator encounter. Maybe instead of the stamina regen it could be a…
I think maybe another option out there would be to change up executioner's style so that it buffs reaping strike with some serious AoE damage as opposed to a 25% Single target buff. Also just a flat damage or pen buff to the skill would be amazing.
