1. Nerf exp given from quests and Invocations to allow more time to PvP, do Foundry missions, dungeons and Skirmishes. 2. Reduce AD cost to unsocket higher-level enchantments. 3. Increase the time interval between NPC audio quips. 4. Give the VA of Kyrn Whitesky a high-five. That guy is awesome. 5. Allow the GWF to excel…
Appreciate the post, Dez! I'll be keeping an eye on what changes are coming for GWF. As I was playing today, and unlocking my final abilities, I have to agree with what you guys said about the GWF not quite "feeling" right. Some abilities and mechanics are spot on, like Indomitable Battle Strike, Takedown, Avalanche of…
I find no problem with the longer tasks. I start an 8-hour task in the morning, go to work, come home, task complete. So what if I lose out on 3 silver and a paltry amount of exp? The game's allowing me to log off for up to 18 hours, and craft at the same time. I love it. Sure there are benefits for people who play all…
Oh, quit being so melodramatic. If you're going to reroll, reroll. Also, "I saw it coming..." No you didn't. If you had, you would've rerolled a long time ago and saved us from reading this pointless thread.
I don't have a comprehensive plan for improving the GWF, as I'm still learning its full capabilities as I level. But here I go: 1. Sure Strike needs either a damage buff or a secondary effect. I didn't mean to discount your idea of a Deflect buff stacking, as I love that idea. I just didn't want to mix specialized benefits…
I won't address all your points, but a couple of them: 3. Fyi, Restoring Strike also restores stamina. The heal is not very noticeable by itself, but when supplemented with talents... Grit for instance can give you 3% Temp HP when you heal yourself. Stacking Life Steal and critting with Restoring Strike can also heal a…
^ hahaha omg. So say you have ... 500 defense. 20% of defense into power gives you 100 power... 100/25 = 4. FOUR weapon damage for 5 feat points. And to have 500 defense you need to be around level 40+... Wow. That is total garbage lmao. Too bad Constitution Focus is also useless! Welp, looks like Fast Runner and Grit are…
The 30% damage buff does not compound the damage of Flourish. Meaning, if your Flourish did 100 damage total, it would do 130 damage with the buff. Now, when the skill says it does 1000 damage, that means it does 5 ticks of 200 damage. When it crits for 1900 damage, it would do 5 hits that add up to 1900 damage. It looks…
It also requires you to start running immediately as the attack happens. If you wait more than 1 second you will get hit, even if you're in the middle of sprinting. As a dodge class you can dodge at the last moment and take no damage. Sprinting has its advantages, and is practically essential to GWF to be able to keep up…
Sure Strike needs at least an 80% nerf. One time, I was attacking this trash mob, and he died in only 6 hits! Compare that to Rogues who need to blow Lashing Blade to kill anything at all. Talk about a class that needs buffed, sheesh.
I sure hope something happens. It's not that I'm having a hard time questing or anything, I'm 34, have a stack of 99 potions and haven't died once. But when it takes me 20 seconds to kill 3 elite demons, only to watch a CW throw a single Chill Strike and obliterate half of the HP off a group of the same enemies... then…
I've had this issue as well. It happened to me once in the level 10-19 bracket, and then never happened again. I've put in a bug report about it, maybe you can too to keep this issue afloat.
Yeah, 28 GWF here, just chipping in. Ever since I got my Cleric companion at 16 the leveling process has been much easier - I'm no longer a potion-chugging machine. But PvP... oh my god it's so bad. Like, really bad. I have 750 Power, 90% Critical Severity, and most of my items are at least level 26, with even a few blues.…
