Technically, you can't really be "overstacked" in recovery, it just has pretty sharp diminishing returns. But that's not the point. Even if you're overstacked in crit, the 3% from STR mean you can take 1,200 crit off your gear and replace it with another primary stat. Which I think is more valuable than power/outgoing…
IIRC, Kaelac's guide was written, particularly in its recovery part, to make sure that you have constant uptime of AS. Not sure this is a priority anymore (or that the numbers work). Also, if you'll be going STR/WIS, I don't see a point in being 18/13/13 rather than 16/16/12. This essentially means you're giving up 3% crit…
Templar's Domain Move 1 point from Condemning Gaze to Fire of the Gods. This will not be a DPS build either way, but you need every bit of DoT you can proc, since you give up BotS by going AC.
I've seen reports that it doesn't work on CoBL as well -- so I've always assumed it's an issue with the aim-fire mechanic (which would imply it also doesn't work with DG). Also, I'm not entirely sure whether it works with the mixed damage/healing skills or with straight healing skills. It is supposed to kick in on skill…
Righteous is making sure that Condemning Gaze and Bear Your Sins are up. Any personal DPS that comes with that is gravy. If you're trying to rule the Paingiver chart, you're doing it wrong.
So dDG has always not stacked correctly in divinity? That's what you're going to go with? No biggie, it's going to just be the only DC power that behaves this way (for no good reason, if I might add). Wow.
Wow. I concede that a stacking 12.5% damage buff (for a total of 37.5% from one dDG rotation) is perhaps too good. There is, however, zero chance that the non-stacking version is WAI -- after all, DG is the only power that currently doesn't offer stacking effects in divine mode. Everything else is designed so that you can…
Because the post is (a) unusual, and (b) very carefully worded to promise two things: (1) there will be an update pushed on Preview today, and (2) there will be a (separate) comprehensive power update... later. These two things can indeed be "100% legit" as the post claims and still part of what is essentially not an…
If I remember correctly, SL gives a flat armor penetration percentage in empowered mode. This is a lot more important in PvP where folks can overstack DR. You are right that when you're grouped, it will likely never be better to cast an eDL to eFF/eBtS. With this in mind, the remaining two slots should be filled with…
Not sure I'm entirely on board with this assessment. dCoBL and dDL both have a fairly large radius, so hitting moving mobs is not too bad. Yes, the DL animation is slightly slower, and not leaving a mark on the ground means you can miss altogether. But the flexibility of just having to slot DL to do damage in all three…
For eBtS is a circle around the caster, radius should be similar to HG. If you're standing too far to cover your team with HG, you're doing it wrong :P
Speaking about this -- I have ~260 points in incoming healing, and where these are reflected I can see 2% incoming healing increase. I scroll down to the defense section where the "bonus incoming healing" line is, and it shows a big fat zero. Is this a representational bug or what?
However, the divine version will often (always?) stack with the non-divine version is active on target. PoD is ok, however, some aspects of it seem broken, and people have been complaining about clunky animation. I have never used it, personally, but may end up putting points in it just because the stuff that we got t 70+…
Of course it isn't. You're not getting a 20% damage debuff from the regular BtS, and the extra 30% damage on the fully empowered FF. The cooldown of BtS may be short, but it won't be ready immediately after one divine rotation, not even with Avatar on.
Because cooldowns exist, you can either cast FF and eBtS, or BtS and eFF. Going BtS - dDG - dBtS -dBtS - eFF is theoretically a lot of personal damage plus a sizeable damage debuff to the mob.
