If I understand correctly I'm having the same issue. Patch went pretty smoothly, however I get the perpetual loading screen after clicking play on the launcher. Seems this may be the final nail in the coffin for me.

Well you got further than I did. After the patch the game wont even load for me, perpetual loading screen, and since I can't collect items from my mail in gateway that I won at auctions I cant even continue some of my professions. So I guess this update might have been the last nail in the coffin for me. =/ Shame really

Update: Maybe you guys are doing something right lately. Tracert showing relatively decent numbers with few timeouts. Launcher is firing up quickly. We will see what happens tomorrow at 1pm EST that is when my connection fails like clockwork.

Had a pretty solid connection until BAM 1pm EST the network crumbles like a paper house in a rock slide. Server not responding.

I can only log in through EU proxy, this is unacceptable.
