I have to say I have been very disappointed with the changes to astral diamonds as well as the supposed fixes that have been added. First of all, they ruined leadership. They took the diamonds out of the recipes but did not change the time it takes to perform them. There are a ton of recipes on leadership that take huge…
As a person that only has one character (I have been playing since release and never had more than a single character) I knew that the huge leadership armies people had were a problem and I know it is ideal that they did something to fix it, but I do wish they would have found a better way. The economy did get grossly…
Well, it sounds like they have a temporary fix in that they can give all of us that are affected by the bug a free respec token. It's not a particularly good fix (I would prefer they actually fix the problem), but I don't have much hope for it as they still have not bothered to fix the bug that prevents people from…

The permanent improvement I am referring to is the permanent increase in VIP rank. If someone buys 6 months of VIP, then takes 2 years off and comes back and buys another 6 months of VIP, he will have more benefits than someone that just bought their first 6 months of VIP because his rank was permanently improved when he…
I hope there will be a way to acquire the rewards we miss out on. I am currently waiting to file a ticket until either the bug is fixed or my month of VIP expires so I will know exactly how many identification scrolls I missed out on. I definitely won't be buying another month of VIP until it is fixed (and if it isn't…
Ideally they will simply keep adding VIP ranks. Obviously 12 was chosen because that is the number of months in a year, but each year they could add another 12 ranks so that there are 24, or 36, or more ranks of VIP. They can continue to add more and more features to keep people wanting to increase their rank. I wasn't…
They already have benefits for people that spent money on Zen (the first time buyer pack comes to mind). One of the things I feel Neverwinter really did right was allowing their VIP program to be purchased with Zen rather than only with money. Many games make you purchase VIP with your credit card from the website rather…
Absentmindedly, I did not think about getting a 15% off coupon (I have just gotten used to thinking of the 1 hour coupons as trash and forgot they could ever be useful) and so paid full price for my VIP. But my one and only character got affected by the bug that prevents him from getting his daily reward (as well as making…
In my case my "main" is the one and only character I have. Thus for me, absolutely none of my characters are getting the benefits of the daily reward (and I have no intention of making a second character so this will remain the case until they fix it). I am very glad I only purchased one month of VIP and I definitely won't…
Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I am doing everything right. I am using the real button (the one just above the account button that gives a key and is working just fine), my inventory has space in it, and I do not have any similar items in my inventory (since it has never worked, I have never been able to receive the…
I would really like to see them make them a currency in the second inventory tab so they take up no space at all and can stack in the millions. Collecting these dungeon keys could be fun if they don't become a headache (I'd like to see how many I can get even if I'll never use them). It would motivate me to upgrade my VIP…
Well that is a little better at least. I have exactly 1 character (that I started about 2.5 years ago when the game first came out) and he is unable to collect his daily reward. To answer the developer's comment, I had around 3 empty slots when I first tried to claim the reward (not sure of the exact number) and have 8…
I wasn't completely full at the time (had something like 3 spots open when I tried to collect it for the first time). Not sure if that is enough to prevent it from working right (assuming that is really the problem).
Well, I did decide to buy it but was disappointed to find out it doesn't even work properly. The only reason I purchased it was for the key and scrolls and my only character is completely unable to get the daily reward that gives scrolls (clicking on the button does nothing). So in the end it looks like all I got for…
Just bought VIP myself and it is a little disappointing that I can't claim the daily reward, but at least I am only rank 1 so I am just missing out on some identification scrolls. Hopefully they get this fixed quickly.
The new system encourages people to stop creating characters and never using them for anything but invoking. This change encourages people to invoke on characters that they actually play and ignore the characters that they don't play.
Dungeons and Dragons Online (the only real D&D MMO) is the only game I can think of that actually allows and encourages strategy. They even said during development that standing on a stack of boxes and sniping a melee opponent is not an exploit but simply an intelligent use of strategy. Sadly that is considered cheating in…
I picked option one but only because doing content without a level cap raise is pointless. I hate level capped characters because it feels like they are not progressing (and no, changing their clothes is not progress unless this is a Barbie game and I just did not realize it). Once I hit the level cap the game became about…
I am surprised people thought the drop rate would be higher. The point of a profession pack is to give you profession items. The chance for a companion is a lure, but honestly, you should expect nothing more than profession items. Even a 1% chance for the companion is higher than I would have expected.
It is a way to limit the amount of money you can earn a day without going so far as to simply prevent all money from dropping the moment you hit 24k. Most games don't have such a feature, but then most games have runaway inflation. It is an attempt to severely limit the rate of inflation and it works pretty well. In games…
The point of the cap is to limit the influx of money and thus slow inflation. Raising it just because people can reach the cap kills the entire point of the cap. People should be able to reach the cap. If you couldn't get to 24k in a day then a cap would be unnecessary.
Why do people feel the need to comment on things that they know nothing about? Just because the game has a feature that you don't know how to use or your class cannot use does not mean it does not exist and it certainly does not mean that someone that knows more than you is a troll.
The game uses the sell value to recommend things. This means that the game will recommend a level 30 blue over a level 60 green just because the merchant will pay you more for the blue. Needless to say, ignore the recommendations and just look at the stats.
What do bots do in PvP? I just ran a few PvP matches. In two of the matches my team had only 3 or 4 people and were completely dominated by the other team. In both of those matches I got exactly 300 points (for grabbing the first node) and nothing else as we were completely destroyed by the other team. My reward was…
