It was not a boost. I had DOUBLED STATS. Every single stat was doubled. If everyone had the same "boost" I wouldn't be dropping ppl like flies in those matches. Anyways, after switching gear/relloging I didn't get that "boost" anymore...which leads me to believe it's an actual bug.

That's my point! A cleric without healing HIMSELF is just a sitting duck! Better to be throwing some damage around than setting an astral shield down and getting owned inside it without a chance.
Yes, I agree. And before mod3 clerics were able to survive (astral shield/chains/whatever healings you prefer) a gwf (equally geared) and do some team support. Now, with the DEEPLY THOUGHT nerf to the clerics own healing we are forced to leave the healing skills behind as they are worthless to surviving the battlefield.…
Well, I just pvped the whole morning as a cleric (14.5gs, profound, etc etc). Bottom line: ppl don't even kill clerics anymore...they just let me walk around cause I can't do **** anyways. GREAT JOB CRYPTIC.

No, I don't think it'll be that easy. Actually, that right there is pretty **** hard! First of all to survive in pvp as a cleric you have to build for defense+deflect+regenerate (because you get controlled/stunned/disabled/prone ALL the time). Hi, So, I've read the preview about pvp campaings and I feel a little worried. Some quests require the player to "earn 75 double kills" or "execute 150 players in Gauntlgrym". How is a Cleric supposed to do that? As being a cleric that pvps 90% of the time, I'm sure it will be extremely difficult to clear those quests.
