Awesome! Thanks. :) Did you change anything about requiring inventory items to progress? Did you change them to killing certain mobs or anything? Or may be I missed that in your notes? You can do class requirements without items. But overall, requiring specific classes to progress in a group Foundry is harsh. That will…
Click "Delete" then press Enter twice. Repeat. Less clicking and more key pressing. But yeah, completely agree, many UI elements are, well, cryptic. ;) Just another example of a poor UI design team.
Thanks! Whenever you get it fixed we'll run it again. And your quest is fun if these issues are resolved, so you'll get a positive review from me at that time.
Good to hear. Nothing like the process of creating it. :) The feedback and reviews are just icing on the cake. Sometimes the icing is bitter, sometimes sweet, but creating the quest initially is always the highlight for me.
Thanks! :) I'll be trying to schedule group-only Foundry quests for my guild's outings, as in ones that can't be done solo, or at least far too annoying to do solo. So while I appreciate quests with a difficulty scaling mechanism, those that can be done solo will be way down on that list we'll do. If we run out of group…
Anrix2, first I wanted to say that I appreciate your work to fill a gap in the Foundry for group only quests. They are far and few in-between. Now the criticism, hopefully some constructive if you're interested in fixing the quest. This is going to be a wall of text... We tried out your quest with a 5-man run tonight. We…
*sigh* A highly rated group quest, even featured, but broken for me. I tried this quest both in featured form and in the regular published form. Always stuck at wave 3/5 in surviving the waves until the portals close... And I also get stuck in the ground when I teleport out... Did the author stop updating this quest after…
Even solo this was doable for as far as I got to test it (for a group play I'm doing tonight). Unfortunately it got stuck at wave 3/5 in the survive part. What happened? I looked everywhere to see if mobs were stuck somewhere, waiting for me to kill them and nada. Seems like this quest can be broken. It's a shame since a…
Necroing this thread since it's in the Foundry and not General forums. Any news are response from Cryptic on this? I'm working on a quest with a lot of optional dialog/Easter Eggs since Cryptic's model pushes us to target 15-30 minutes quests IF we want to have a popular quest. So my current work is targeted at that, but…
Or... If Cryptic would fix the existing listings they have to include all music that was supposed to be there originally. There is a lot of duplicated stuff and a lot of music that just doesn't play/exist too.
Version 4.1 is now published. * Fixed optional teleporter below frozen area that was being overridden by a contact. This was a bug due to Feywild update but didn't prevent player from completing quest. * Added progress indicators to objective completions that involved reaching a marker. Now objective completion text will…
Version 4.0 is out, which makes it work with Feywild now. Also major changes to the Sewer/Pipes and Ghost Pirate Ship areas. * First structure in the Rebel territory (Sewer/Pipes) has changed significantly. This was to improve the look and feel. Natasha has been moved in this area, new structures added, others removed, and…
Mine is still live, as fixing it takes a lot of work. Many teleporters and broken assets. I'm so POed at Cryptic for the /fail of it all that I haven't done anything in Neverwinter for a while. I will get around to fixing it eventually. I was testing it after Feywild and found so many broken things that the couple hours I…
Just to help the community, did you also update your drivers or just the info files for GeForce Experience (ie: profiles)? And which version of the NVIDIA driver are you using?
Awesome, thanks. I've only crashed once, so not sure if mine was the same as everyone else's. And would you be able to tell us what the results of that crash was, as in a client crash with a bug ticket report, or a hard crash like a DXDiag/driver crash? Thanks!
That's good to know the history of the Foundry. It seems like they're paying (and in turn making us pay) for their mistakes of the past. Now they're correcting some of them, but in the process not QAing things nearly enough, if even at all from the looks of it with the teleporter screw-up. Devs: We're making big changes to…
That's very possible. What I've noticed is that some of the duplicate items have a cheap version with rougher or no collision detection while the expensive version has a lot of collision detection. I've always used the cheaper version in those cases if I didn't need the extra collision detection. Thanks.
I think you have a misconception of Furmark. Furmark is not hardware. It can't force your GPU and graphics subsystem to do anything beyond it's normal operating practices. It can't override your GPU thermal shutdown safeties, etc. Furmark is just used to test your graphics subsystem, nothing more. If your system chokes on…
That's an error for DirectX itself. It might be a different problem then what others are experiencing here. To help troubleshoot that I'd do all of the normal GPU troubleshooting... 1.) Install the latest driver for your video card if you don't already have it. Use the stable/release versions, not beta versions. 2.)…
... or not. Cryptic/PWE is really looking pathetic right now, coming up on a week since Feywild and no reliable Foundry. Apparently fixing teleporters takes a week? LOL. It's becoming a little more funny than it is sad.
I have never crashed in the game client until today, after the module 1 Feywild update. Cryptic obviously introduced new bugs into the client with this build. I was in PE with the AH, inventory, character panel open while enchanting an item. Then crash, instantly after slotting the enchantment. This was to enchant a level…
