That letter needed a LOT of proof-reading. There are sentences that don't seem to make sense, and then there are simple blunders like "when auctioning on player feedback" which should be ACTIONING (which is such buzzword doublespeaking that it shouldn't even be a word, but whatever, that's what I expect from OverRob by…
yet another reason why I wish some OTHER company would be the "officially licensed" D&D game. Cryptic has the reverse Midas touch, and touches everything it can get its hands on. eta: by the way? "Arc User" by my name is a lie. I don't have ARC, i don't want ARC, i will never use ARC.
I don't =ever= buy lockboxes/keys in any games. I don't like the idea of money-for-rng, i prefer "i want this, i give you money, i get the thing." How is this a good situation for players like me? Anybody saying they'd pay 3000Z for this has Z to burn. I'm with you. 1250 AT THE EXTREME MOST is all I'd pay for this. That's mostly for the companion & bag of holding. The items are junk that will be outgrown by level 15, and ... There isn't much else, is there?
At the risk of derailing the conversation a little, the above is why I too didn't like DDO. I made it to level 4 on a few classes, and... felt overwhelmed by all the STUFF to manage/track/hotkey/.... As I'm not into the 'min/max' or number-management style of roleplaying-game, this "active combat" stuff suits me better.…
