PvP gear is mainly for PvP if you wish to be good at PvE as will gear the PvE gear ( The PvP gear is a good stepping stone to getting PvE though!

I think that you should wait to do PvP until 40 but remember PvE is also a HUGE part of this gaming so only doing PvP for the most part is a bad idea, do PvE till 40 or so then work into PvP, it is your choice but i did have a few high levels and i didn't start PvP untill 50. 1. I have to disagree the failed usage of the mini map was my biggest let down, the mini map helps quest such as area ones were the area is blue, having to goto the Start then map is hard. i think i mini map CHOICE would be good but not have to use it.

i encounter frame rate drop to but usually do to AoE attacks which is a given in most MMO's :)
