@solyad1 try this on for size during one of their CB's I think Rusty Hearts they made us spend real life cash to test the cash shop. This was BEFORE Cryptic entered the scene. They refunded the zen upon OPEN BETA but didn't refund any after that. you have to follow the companies description of what closed beta, open beta,…
Open beta vs. Closed Beta Closed beta is generally used with a limited number of folks via a key to test certain mechanics and systems. Open Beta is generally the first step into Live play with the one simple fact anyone and every one can login and play. This period of time means no wipes and no refunds on things purchased…
how would making the game p2p make it a bigger success? all you would do by doing that is loose quite a lot of folks. anyway... Cryptic is now with PWE, PWE only has 2 games that have a subscription but that is because those came with the game when they got them. STO and CO are the ONLY subscription games PWE currently has…
okay i hope this helps some understand something about why selective roll-back is impossible. The game stores the users data in a database of sorts. i think folks need to stop with the bad mouthing other countries. find something better or leave cause that type of talk isn't winning anyone anything.
>< you only showing who they registered the domain through... that being said... PWE which now owns Cryptic (if I understand it right) is based in California or the US publishing side anyway the main office is in China. which goes by the name Perfect World and the US branch Perfect World Entertainment... PWE IS a US…
if you have had problems connecting for the last ten hours you should have submitted a support ticket since most of us have been within the last 10 hours.
@scaringchildren probably true but then again this is just the begining with open beta before they had closed beta so they limited the loads on the server. now they are seeing it go sky high well *shrugs* I'd rather deal with a 4 hour maintenance than have the servers go down for day or more due to overloads.
*sighs* everyone is so focused on it being a maintenance that you are not understanding why they pulled it. They said from the traffic they are seeing getting higher and higher... They had to pull the servers down to do emergency patching to handle the traffic and load, and make the server more stable with higher traffic…
