Just so that you know, you did make a slight mistake concerning the EVE fact, they have a single shard, which is made from many servers that are clustered so that everyone plays in the same instance. They usually do have good performance but they have been working at this for over a decade so that is to be expected. :)

I am happy to say that Cryptic has been very responsive to the community for this launch. This is actually the smoothest launch I've seen yet, many other famous MMOs were train wrecks tbh! :)

People this is still a smoother launch than many of the past "popular" MMOs. Give them a few days to iron the issues out and there probably won't be a queue!
