Well every other permanent stat upgrade is gated behind PvE content... just because you're a majority does not mean PvP players should have to do PvE for EVERYTHING. Forcing a PvP player to PvE is just as bad as the reverse, or nearly anyways.
Here's a novel idea to all of you quitters out there. Quit AFTER the game is ruined, so you're not whining about something that you haven't actually seen in action. If it turns out to be true that AS at 100% is the ONLY thing keeping the game afloat, then quit. Maybe until then you should just voice your opinion in a calm,…
Yes, thank you everybody. Also, pinkfont is correct, I do PvP legit every day. It's my favorite part of the day. Wish PvP had good rewards for someone beyond the PvP gear :/.
What are the chances of actually getting gear if you don't need everything? I, strictly, use the need and greed system in the way it was intended to be used. Will that mean that I won't get anything? Also, to head people off, I'm already in a guild but we're quite small at the moment. Not enough manpower.
I think I've figured out how you did everything here. Can I share, or do you plan on making a thread for it like you did with the timers (brilliant, by the way)? Also, you use one of the ghosts that disappears when close, right? That's the only way I found to make it work.
Thank you for posting. I've actually made some progress with my issue. I'm now 99% confident that I know the problem, but I do not know what is causing it or how to fix it. The issue is, the drop down box that should appear when I click "appear when" appears to be popping up behind the info box that pops up when you click…
Yes, I have done both. My first mission works properly, and restarting the game did not help. Your husband is smart, fixing problems always begins with the most obvious solution! I'm not 100% sure that it's everything. I did not try it outside of a certain radius, but it's definitely more than one object. I'll check that…
Caturday will go down in infamy, lol. We'll be able to tell who was playing back at the start of the game by saying "you remember Caturday"? Thank you very much Cryptic, this goes a long way.
I see your point... But you're wrong. This thread is for thank yous. Whining here is akin to whining in a class build thread. OP: "So guys, my GWF build is..." You: "THIS GAME NEEDS A WIPE" It's off topic, you can use a thread dedicated to it instead of trying to cause trouble.
Right, and some people are willing to get their faces blown off for our country. So we should force all adults to do it, right? You can't justify the sacrifice of everyone by justifying your own sacrifice. Remember, we're trying to actually help people. If we nuke the playerbase like this now, many will quit, which will…
I'll type succinctly, with bold letters, and with it all underlined. I'm doing this just to help you understand :) You are a hypocrite for not saying, in every whine thread, that there are other whining threads. Clear?
Yes, because anyone who is not quitting is a sucker. You're not playing Call of Duty, and I think it's the best game evarrrr (not really), so you're the sucker. You're also not watching Justin Bieber, so you're a double sucker. Oops, you are watching Justin Bieber. Guess that means you're just an ordinary sucker watching…
If you were right in posting that this thread should not have been made, you would (in order to be consistent) be obligated to do so in every other brown-nosing thread as well. You obviously did not, and thus you are a hypocrite. We already have a couple of brown-nosing threads. Go post that we have a couple of…
Right, because wiping all of the innocent people's characters will, on balance, do more justice than inaction, right? Would you nuke a town to bring justice to a serial killer? That's silliness. Very few people are guilty, and all of them deserve permabans, but don't ruin everything for the rest of us innocent folks.
Right, because that obviously justifies you derailing a thank you thread when there are plenty of non-thank you threads. Fine logic you've got there, friend. Why don't you go to the class build threads and wine about it there? You'd be as on topic there as you are here.
Yes, this paragraph was a whole lot of "Cryptic messed up" and virtually no justification for a wipe. That's a classic example of a red herring. Provide a good justification for the wipe, that outweighs the con of thousands of innocent players losing all of their hard work, or please don't post further on the topic. Save…
Proud to be a non-rage quitter. If that makes me a fan boy, then I'll go order my "I <3 Cryptic" shirt immediately. This is a game I will be with for a long time, authoring and playing Foundry missions.
You don't think it's prudent to watch the economy before nuking every innocent player's character out of existence? Brilliant. Folks, precision and patience are called for. Knee-jerk reactions are never good if there's no immediate concern. If we do need to wipe, letting the game go for a few days to watch the economy will…
