refiners caches in the current CTA event are the same, they claim you always get an enchant or runestone, you get none. only junk gems.

While I understand why they don't announce the sales, I wish they would as if it goes like last year, Id wait until Monday for the 50% cyber Monday sale rather than buying at 40% off over the weekend. But then if I wait and there is no 50% cyber Monday sale, I miss out.

I havent't been here for previous Blessing of Waukeen events, but they do seem to be dropping very slowly. At the current rate, it will take 6-8 hours of non stop farming to get the 32 coinpurses needed for the chest. And then for that the RNG will reward us with some uncommon profession resources, no doubt.

I couldnt find any indicator of how many points Ive gained from the "event", other than the usual rp total. I have a bad feeling the cap is going to affect all rp points during the event.

well its looking like 40k cap won't be an issue. I doubt many will hit 40k. :)

Under 70 IG gives none of those rewards. Under 70 IG gives junk. One uncommon random gear and a very low amount of XP.

As you said, its a new mechanic, and they have done nothing to explain it. We don;t know how it will work yet. The fact that they limit it to 40 k spread over 6 days when you can easily make that in far less time kind of proves they didn't put much thought into it.

I know it wont give gems, but the gems we do get will probably also add to the cap so we will have to save them to convert after the event.

I believe the fleece isnt awarded in the under 70 IG, only in the master version at 70. I dont think thats the reason, or else people are queuing under 70 for rewards that dont exist in that version.

Then its not really "random" at all if the level ranges force it into the same choice every time. Obviously they need to adjust the level ranges. I'd much rather be put into lower level skirmishes than IG every single time. Im not exaggerating, it really is every single time, without fail. At least until I hit 64 and open…

So its not really an "event" at all then. Just a way to make us fill up our inventories with gems we can't use until its over.

Under 70, its ALWAYS IG. Every single time. And going for gold then is a waste because you get nothing for it and most PUGs cant handle it anyway. At 70, I dont mind IG, and going for gold actually gives decent rewards. I asked about this in a dev thread and got the same old song and dance about being grouped with people…

I assumed it was just a cap on the max you could accrue at one time, but if you use it up and get below the cap you could earn more. At least I hope thats how it works. Yes, Im aware of the seal vendor. If it werent for that Id have no enchantments at all since the stones and marks to upgrade the rank 1s in the store are virtually impossible to get.

As a newer player, Im finding it impossible to accrue any marks or enchantment stones at all. Its worse than it was before, as I used to get rank 5s as drops all the time. Only problem with the green gear for RP is that it takes greater ident scrolls, which seem to have gone up in price since the update due to the increased demand. I never seem to get enough scrolls as drops.

Lol so not only did they provide the promotion with a vastly too small number of codes, most of them were probably wasted because they went to console players. I contacted support about the lack of a code, and they just passed the buck and told me to contact Corsair.
