Signed. The current methods of simulating a timed event (mob timers, area marker stacking, etc) just don't work well enough to count for a proper timer mechanic.
If a thing like this were implemented, it would probably have to be rough ad, that way you cant do 4 matches a day, and come out with 40k ad, rather than the 4k as intended.
Did some testing, and so far at least on dummies, it doesn't proc storm spell. Also, as long as you drop coi on a tougher mob then use singularity there shouldnt be any issues with it not lasting long enough.

I've done some testing of this myself, and it seems to be that once the animation for them being "sucked in" starts, they can't be hit, probably for the same reason you can't hit targets mid-air launched by things like divine sunburst.

There could also be an extra queue that only allows full group to enter, and has greater rewards. It's always bothered me that theres only one queue for pvp, I never understood why they never added a "tournament" or "ranked" version or something like that.
I'm not sure how it happened, but it's fixed for me. Ever since the recent patch I've been able to do the tasks again. I suspect it's related to the servers being taken down for maintenance and put up again, but I dont know for sure.
I love the loot roll fix, but I hope they fix the campaign window UI bug soon.
