hey great job, completely removing lifesteal, making mobs hit 10x harder minimum, oh only doubling our HP and then removing about 75% of our mitigation at the same time too, and hey lets make potions heal for about 1/3 of what they used to on a regular basis on a longer cooldown!!! LOL! The fun thing was about this MMO is that you didn't need a cookie cutter group to do anything and, well, now you need it to do everything! Jeez if I wanted to do that I'd go play everquest or something way more polished and tuned for that type of group make up... this mod is a total FAIL and is not fun at all
in game exist 1 weapon enchantment called Lifedrinken should be renamed in NoLifeDrinken and yes i spend 450 000 AD to buy this enchant and now is HAMSTER
Dragons? On MY Way !!

Regeneration in Neverwinter was always pretty weak compared to other games I'd played. I don't know what kind of regen the wealthier follks in the city had, but I was not counting on regen saving me in mid-battle. Sometimes it would help, and that would be nice. I don't really understand what it's for in Neverwinter now. You seem to be saying you can regenerate unless you really need to--which makes it an empty promise. I thought this game was based on D & D?
just checking in see if they fixed this mess, looks like the have not. i guess they are happy with the slaughter changes, well im not happy getting slaughtered all the time now, so stopped playing and you can find me on SWTOR until they fix Neveragain err i mean Neverwinter
From the tanking point of view:
Lifesteal changes were basically on point for the goals. It feels useful, but inconsistent which was where I think devs wanted it.
Regen is to weak to be a 2k primary stat on epic armor sets, and seems like it could use some attention in the future. Doesn't feel like where a dev would want it as a combat bonus for tanks.
I never liked the idea of regen anyway ...
Lifesteal should be restricted to evil classes iinm. It might help to receive ingame feedback about the current likelyhood of it's proc, if only to decide whether or not to invest in it on other classes than just the warlock. Future classes might develop it to new heights.
As with any expansion in Neverwinter, there are going to be some class balancing changes. In Elemental Evil, however, the stats Life Steal and Regeneration are undergoing a major optimization. With such a transformation on the horizon, we decided to have a chat with the Neverwinter development team and get a better insight into these changes.
A fury warlock currently has zero survivability. The typical T2 has a trictster rogue tanking... explain that one. If my sw pulls threat with a gear score of 10k it is over. I am dead. It is not like warlocks are solo steam rolling content. This changet has to be the dumbest class balance move in the history of mmo gaming. I have played many MMO and never seen a change this utterly stupid. Honestly, sw need more inherent survivability in pve. Also, pvp for the warlock class is terrible. That is something you fix. Not destroy a class survivability mechanic because the devs do not play the game they work on.
Something this dumb requires the ability of players to have multiple roles on one toon without paying for respec all the time. I swore would never play a free to play mmo but took a chance on neverwinter. Apparently, I was correct and this game is literally turning into a cash grab hunk of HAMSTER.
At least let's hope the devs add more than one role spec to a class. What the =÷%#. With these idiotic changes the ability to change specs becomes a neccesity. Could the devs be doing this to increase respec and other kinds of real life cash revenue. There is ABSOLUTELY no way this change makes the slightest sense from a game standpoint.
I was running around with my level 70 SW in some level 70 rare armor with life steal and deflection as "main stats" on it, but what i have seen this far, life steal is practically useless in fights.
It either doesn't proc at all, or it does proc, when the fight is nealry done... overall it has become a useless stat for me, and it's better to just use a healer companion.
Therefore i changed to armor with power and regeneration... but that wasn't that great either, it looks like i have to stick to defense stats instead, and buy me another set of armor, or i won't survive any bigger (3+ enemies) groups in Spinward Rise on my way to the artifact mainhand weapon.
I don't need to have the best there is to enjoy playing a game, i was fine with my mediocore equipment before module 6, and i should be fine with level 70 mediocore equipment on level 70 in module 6 too... but i'm not.
Life steal was the corner stone of the SW, my main character, and it has been crushed, not just altered, but nerfed into oblivion.
The same seems to be for regeneration... and as mentioned above, it looks like i either go full on defense, or i stack up on injury kits and try to "glasscannon" my way through the new content.
And btw. companions should be also on the level of the enemies added with module 6, and not just die within seconds of an regular (not even heroic, just the normal stuff) small group attack...

Crypt did what they planed, they forced players to stick in party with cleric or paladin.
With Sw, well I find kinda funny situation.. My current SW is furry hellbringer. So I am more less glascannon by feat tree,
So I changed my pre mod 6 gear set(power/crit def focused) to current life steal/def/deflect focused and yet my sw have kinda hard days to live..
During usual daily quests in 60+ lv areas which I can describe as day of many death. I met CW, with had easy days.. He didn't used shield encounter and all stuffs focused on power/crit. Hell he didn't even had 3k def as my SW and he didn't die as I did. Deflect he had almost none. But he had ~16k power. -_- . While I am forced to sacrifice my powers in order stay alive for couple seconds.....
Current mod 6 is favor for CW.s due control and high burst dps. + healer classes. I start wonder does Cryptics work so hard to kill SW or do they simply have no idea what to do.. If they lack ideas, scenario, remodeled feat/ecnounters or other ideas.. They should at least sometimes visit warlocks section in this forum..
Best regards Hades.
p.s I think best build for sw are pure glass cannons.. I mean u go all to power/crit/armor penetration , and try kill mobs before they kill u...

I honestly think the class balancing act needs to be put on hold until all the enchants and gear items are correctly giving their advertised stat increases. As it is, there are a lot of items not working as advertised so stats can not be truly evaluated correctly until they are. Trying to balance the classes at this point will not work since everyone in all classes are not receiving all the stats they have equipped with so having said that, trying to balance classes with those errors is just a waste of time.
Take the extra time to do the job right and it will never come back to bite you in the A**

I don't know what you guys are talking about, I was able to solo everything in Spinward except for Nimbus Tower with an item level of only 1560. I can only imagine what my SW would be capable of if she had the item level I hear people shouting out in Protector's Enclave all the time. The only time my SW seems to die is when I'm lagging.
And I've been holding off on campaign zones but I from what little I have done I know I'd be capable of soloing most of those areas, too, when I get my item level up.
Feel like this is not correct! You actually took away The most important for a SW. We depended on life steal as our main power to have any survivability in the game, both PVE and PVP. We are weaker now than all the other classes and can barely get by if we team up in the new zones and in pvp everybody goes after the SW because they are "easy kills" as the rumors spread! I see all kind of fixes for all the others, did you forget about SW? You know we are pretty new too, and not to be forgotten. I understand you put everything in on Paladin, but do not forget the one that came right before! I look forward to every patch note and look for fixes, and I get incredible disappointed every time. You do a lot of fixes for the others, how about SW next time. Not gonna bother this anymore if not, waste of time and money!!!
It's not the "right" answer. But honestly, if you liked your SW, roll a CW. It's the closest match (to me anyway) and it is quite functional.
I ditched my SW after seeing how broken it is right now and keep it only because it has high crafting ability and because I figure someday they will make SW viable again, maybe even in PvP.
In the mean time I refuse to get frustrated trying to even PvE solo content with a busted class. It just isn't worth the pain, why play angry?
Wow i can't believe it, finally a post that is totally correct an not full of cry my class isnt op anymore,, that **** game is broken so badly that to even think about balance is a out right JOKE. Cryptic obviously has no clue as to what they are doing as all they should be focused on is getting how that game works, stats etc FIXED. We should all know by now that obviously cryptic does not care and is apparent to the reason why they are selling out. A pretty common theme when it comes to this company as they know just put out a game an people will play, broken or not , people will play an put out money to play. As of right now the folks who spend the most money are able to make items that are bugged an use them throughout the game, making things like pvp a joke cause they can only cheat using the bugs that are being ignored by cryptic. Odd how when the lock box that was not meant for release started dropping poof they shut the game down and fixed it, but still allowing some of those boxes in game in the AH,To bad they do not jump as fast to repair the many bugs in this game that people are daily exploiting, which should be a automatic ban for a week , second time a month, third life ban, but just like the many people who set up bots and are now using those chars and loading the AH with tons of illegally gotten goods, nothing will be done, just like its taking forever to correct the loads of bugs in game. By the way there are even chats set up for those using bugs to do tiamat .
(claps) well played good sir

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!
