Well I have to be honest, I really am enjoying mod 6, except for the game crashing , no sound and the lag but I think/hope that will go away soon. There ARE lots new maps and although it's still a grind there are so many different quests I don't feel so grind weary. There's enough that if I don't like one I don't HAVE to do it to level up.
I never really did the super hard dungeons very much, never set foot in castle never or valindras or stuff like that. I only went in Tiamat's a few times and it was so confusing and so hard I just skipped it. So maybe some folks have some real gripes but as of right now I'm having a pretty good time.
Simply because a player is not willing to jump on the latest ragewagon of "I hate mod 6" does not make their opinions invalid. Please respect the opinions of posters that differ from your own. Thank you.

His opinion is invalid because he hasn't actually tested mod 6 ( nor mod 5 as he said)
The only content new in mod 6 is from the leveling 60-70 other than that there's nothing. New content that takes 2-3 days to complete.
Saying mod 6 is great would wrongly induce players who might consider playing/coming back to the game to think it's good, but nope.
We're not bashing him because we disagree, we're bashing his biased opinion.
You can't and shouldn't give you opinion of game based on the tutorial for example, which is kinda what he did, played 5 minutes and came here to say how it's great.
Get to 70, play for a whole week, and you'll naturally join the "mod 6 rage wagon".
Don't get me wrong, i like the changes, but strongly dislike the absence of content at lvl 70, heck, they even managed to lower the available content.

I have played for awhile now before I posted this, lvl 65 now, 5 companions to 35, up to fiery pit. I had no idea the venom my post would generate, you are a hateful little bunch aren't you? I'm having fun so my opinion is invalid LOL. I would say that all the maps to well of dragons Heroic events, dragon heralds, tyranny dragons is more than 20% of the game but you are entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. Although I have to say I almost fainted when the com mod took up for me LOL they're usually threatening me. Oh and remember...IT'S A GAME!
I love mod 6 and I hate it. It is what it is. If someone is having fun doing something that you do not have fun doing, it doesn't make them wrong or on some kind of band wagon.
Maybe keep what substance there is to anti-mod6 arguments, and not do the shallow and meaningless group thing of "us and them". That is so stupid and ultimately as destructive to the community as the broken mod its self.
I must agree with OP. After boring "I look you, you die" mod4 and mod5 finaly some changes in right directions! Fix lags and some bugs, put back reworked spell, cn etc. remove rng from game end wohooo we have a very nice game! I must admit at the end of MOD 5 I was about to delete game and account because it ws boring. Now, finaly, something can kill you. Finaly all classess have their place in party and team work is back! So far I have finished VT, eLOL, TOS, Kesel, eSOT and paladin is so good support class that we needed much. So yea there are bugs, lags etc. but for the first time I belive in devs decision to make this game right!

We shall make a support group!
Altough I couldn't play without sound (which I happen to like)
There are plenty of elements to the game and the new mod that are perfectly enjoyable
I have leveled Alchemie to 25 and am producing potions and things I can sell on AH.
I have begun to play a Paladin. He is on level 32 at the moment.
I can say I have tested nearly 100% of the new content.
I have much fun. (Except the lags in Spinward Rise, these are horrible and should be fixed as soon as possible) I don't die very often, because I have adapted my play style to the new difficulty level. (no facerolling, more dodging)
So, my opinion should be valid. Since it is the same as OP, his should be valid, too.
this is the problem of mod 6,what should be at the end of the stick is in the middle of the stick

The only part of Mod 6 I have enjoyed thus far is Spinward Rise, despite all its lag and subsequent death.
One good point that was made somewhere here is that at least you can sort of choose what Vigilance quests you want to do or ignore. Beautiful zone though, pity there is no reason to return there ever again on my main.
Our pain is self chosen.

Oh there's plenty of valid complaints and its comical cryptic sent it out the way they did. I still like it though, the gear reset and the return of challenge is above all that for me. Tyranny was the absolute worst because it was basically the one armed bandit version of the game. Do the same non involving thing over and over and maybe get an artifact to sell. Mod 6 is like wow, there is a game there after all.

Nothing can be worst than mod 4 and 5...nothing except mod 6 with a bug list 4x longer than patch note.
I m not even joking.
Bugs are fixable, terrible design choices we are stuck for months with. They have to make it up to some classes like warlock but overall I'm just much happier with the direction. If most of the bugs and lag is gone 2 weeks after launch I'm ok with it.
I think Minsc said it best when he said, "This is boring. Boo, tell them that they are boring."
Some developer with a keen sense of irony (and probably with a guilty conscience) slipped that into the repeating dialog and I appreciate that anonymous developer's candor.

Except in NW coz you know that to this day there are bugs that have been around since Beta, right?
That's because beta isn't a bug fixing phase (and yes, the fact that many "beta testers" do not use the beta test for bug finding, but rather simply for "hey, I get to see it first!!" early access). It creates a baseline priority list for the devs to start with when the game goes live. That list gets added to on a daily basis, and the least important ones usually wind up lingering at the bottom of the priority list for quite some time. Also add to that the fact that you have to first find what's causing the bug, then code the fix, then test that fix and hope it doesn't break something else....and after all that, pray that it interacts properly with the live code and all its permutations and variables.

Hey OP, I just wanted to chime in and show you some support. Is Mod 6 perfect? Heck no. Despite that I am having much more fun playing in the past week then I did in Mod 4/5, and I am pleased to see you are also.
Thay being said, I'll be here till the end of days as I love DnD that much... lol

This is the OP's opinion.
Cons:
Game crashes
Lag
No sound
Grindy (but not to grindy)
Pros:
A lot of quests
Conclusion:
Having a pretty good time
I think we are all reading into the title, but it turns out she didn't have much to take back.

However i m happy you are enjoying it.
I played 1600 and 2000 dungeons and skirmishes.
I played PVP on lvl 70.
I played the old campaignmaps.
All of these things with a TR, a CW and a GF.
I have leveled Alchemie to 25 and am producing potions and things I can sell on AH.
I have begun to play a Paladin. He is on level 32 at the moment.
