Every class is balance IMO in this MOD, the only problem that people post in the forums is the "One hit kill" of certain classes (Ice Knife, Lashing Blade, Intimidation Feat. (im not sure of the other things), But all of this can only one hit because of CRITICAL STRIKE. Yes CW can one hit if its Ice knife if it crits, Lashing blade (sure crit), and the Intimidation feat the same. The source of all this is the Perfect Vorpal, lets look at this problem the other way now, we all pointing fingers this class needs a nerf because it can one hit the class is OP or so on. But if you are gonna look at the other all classes can one hit because of this weapon enchantment, It is the ONLY weapon enchantment that can give you more than 20% boost in damage in a single blow all other enchantments will only give you 20% or less, So i suggest instead of us pointing what class is to nerf or to be fixed, why not NERF the Perfect Vorpal. The source of one hitting will be gone, and thus people will see that the game classes are really balance. Please put up a helpful comment and tell me the community what you think about this. Before you post something think really hard, all onehit kill needs to crit and 50%damage boost is too much anyway, if you going to compare it to other enchantments. I know some will say but it will only activate when you crit thats why it has 50%, but that one crit is the only thing you need to one hit kill someone. Thoughts?
Nerf the enchant that people spend time and money on in order to increase their DPS ? Thats like putting your hand in my pocket, you can be sure ill slap you for it

Yes the 1 factor of TR and CW become OP
because they can 100% crit
So there can be build for 1 rotation crit with ignore crit stat and max it to pow arpen and recovery
100% crit change is dead wrong in every way
it's must change with 40% crit sev or 2*change crit so no more 1 rotatiom skill kill
at least not with ignore crit stat
Even if dev want to give something like this it must have like side effect like take 50% more damage while or after use
if you wanna change the topic about nerfing TR it's not gonna happen
That enchantment is source of all one hit kill, Every other class can one hit other classes. as i have said Ice knife crit for CW, Intimadation Crit for GWF, Lashing blade. If we are gonna point fingers TR needs a nerf because it can one hit, or CW's can one hit as well etc., all of these situations have one thing in common they CRIT. Why nerf one class at a time if we can nerf the source of overpowered damage.

The uncommon and essential part is that Intimidation is not an auto crit so dont even try to group it with the rest. Take away the auto crit and suddenly your Lashing Blade will do far less 1hit kills. Same for the Wizards

Pvorpral was countered by Tenacity. It's really the only reason I can think they would introduce Tenacity in the first place.
This game has no raid level DPS, no true holy trinity, Resilience or in this case tenacity was unnecessary.
I truly believe most of it's purpose was to counter PVorpral.
You need to add Tenacity into your damage calculations. In truth a Crit deals 40% less damage against a 20% Tenacity target. Your Pvorpral is actually giving you 10% bonus damage on crits.
Running a vorpral in turn helps keep high crit classes in check from Tenacity ruining their damage potential.
Because cw have nuke damage but still can be killed
but TR have nuke damage but have 75% dev sev and invis
if you talking about being melee, TR is melee who can slip into your blind spot and split your throat
no need to stand in front line of a fight
The source of this 1 rotate skill kill is because 100% crit change mekanic not vorpal
Because in tr and cw mind in why must stack crit stat if they can 1 rotate skill to all crit?
I urge everyone to have an open mind to this, and forget our classes. plus now we have boons that can boost up our critical severity, and potions as well.

I agree to this, it is really also posible that those players who is crying for one hit kill are players who dont use PVP gear. Good point my friend.

Nice point as well, but how bout intimidation and the HR's aim shot it also deal massive crit damage and one hit kills.
Bringing this issue up is not me protecting my class or my friends classes (TR's CW's GWF's), and not even our investments cause most of us have perfect vorpals. This is what i feel about needs to be done and i am addressing the community if they feel the same way too and mostly thats had replied agreed the critical severity gives one hit kill except for one guy who is insisting that classes is the problem. Please have an open mind.

The solution is better matchmaking - make it so premades only face other premades, and teams of roughly equivalent GS face off against one-another. Also offer different forms of PvP - like capture the flag, protect the VIP, or even some indirect PvP, like a team vs team tower defense.

Nice idea as well, they should fix the PVP matchmaking as well. Thank you
The point is when ever these classes crit the one i have mentioned, they can achive 1 hit kill.
Yes GWF and HR can have 1 rotate kill if all their rotate attack come out all crit
but it's rarely happen.. not like CW and TR that even they have 1% change crit stat can burst 1 rotate crit skill all crit
GWF and HR attack can be evade and dodge
but in TR mekanic how you can dodge attack that you don't know when and from where it came
The real problem is 100% change crit mekanic
i dont mind if tr and cw got 40% crit sev
but they must need to stack crit not ignore it and get 1 rotate skill all crit

Hmmmm, interesting...... this might work honestly, drop crit severety to 40% then let the classes stack crit.
Uhhm, a Perfect Vorpal does not give a 50% damage boost - also not on crits.
You have 75% base critical severity already plus boons (let's say 10%), so 85% base. A Perfect Vorpal adds 50% to it making it 135% crit severity.
Normal hit: 10,000
Crit hit without Vorpal: 10,000*1.85 = 18,500
Crit hit with Vorpal: 10,000*2.35 = 23,500
That's 5,000 more damage with Vorpal compared to no Vorpal, which is a ~27% damage boost, which is not so far off from the other enchants that give you plain +20% damage and no where near "50% damage boost"
So, sorry, but you're completely off track making the Vorpal the source of all evil.

I am beginning to think so, cause one guy commented that one hit kill is just happening because of people not having tenacity. And i think it is correct. See this is helpful.

What i mean is change 100% change crit mekanic with bonus 40% crit sev while stealth and ofcourse it's dry out the stealth
in cw change eye strom 100% change crit with 2*change crit
make TR leave footprint while stealth at least when step on the node
Change 25% defl sev to +5% defl sev each enemy within 15 feet max 25%
And we got strong TR and CW not OP

Gear setup is 90% of the problem I believe. I play every class but lok and none of my toons have gotten one shot.
The other 10% is just knowing other classes, Most GWF are very obvious with their intimidation rotation and it's easily dodged. Most rogues are also obv with their lashing, the good ones know to save it and force you to dodge out before using it or don't slot it at all. Aim shot can be interrupted with damage, just keep your eyes open. All these one shots setups are avoidable.

I've not looked at the leaderboard since I found it can be exploited by leaving games via a bug. What exactly do you mean? What does the leaderboard have to do with PVorpral? Or getting one shot? Are you talking about kills or wins?
There are a lot of factors around a leaderboard ( even if it did work correctly ) and it would be foolish to judge a class strength based on that alone.
In mod 4 leaderboard been dominate with HR and CW
in mod 5 TR dominate
if this not the factor them what we use?
If you saying about gear then it must be not much change in rank leaderboard right?

My statement about gear is relating to people being one shot. It has nothing to do with a specific class. I'm not arguing which class is stronger than the other, cuz I simply have no interest, that's the plus side to playing all of them. I've read a few of your previous posts and it seems like you're just out for TR blood involving one shots and yet strangely the only TR build I have to work against is the one that doesn't do burst damage.
I will say that there are five times as many TR's playing this round than there were, this is partially because there's more than one viable build for TR now. Of course Perma Whisper Knife still beats all of them 1v1 but as far as group value the TR has some options now, they aren't completely stuck as a back caper and point holder, they can play a huge role in taking down an enemy DC on the front line for instance where as WK TR cant do much of anything to a DC.
More people playing a class = more of that class on the leaderboard and I assume you mean kills which mean almost nothing in competitive point capture. It's also important to remember that SoD was broken for the first few days of mod5 and plenty of TR took advantage of that.
If i don't mistake your point
you saying that one shot thing is about gear gap
well what i was saying is about 1 rotate kill with build that ignore crit stat and stacking power and arpen because TR and CW got 100% crit change content
lets's say it not 1 rotate kill but the burst damage is wrong in every way

if you saying it's about gear gap i think the owner of top rank not gonna change much
but yeah everyone have their opinion

TENACITY is what needs to be tweaked to work better for PvP! Spending a good amount of time/testing with tenacity would be the REAL solution to balance PvP. Once PvP is balanced, the amount of talk about class nerfs will drop significantly. It's that simple . . .

A universal PvP mitigation stat like Tenacity is never the REAL solution to problems. Even in games with raid level DPS it's a bandaid for other underlining problems. Balance is also just about impossible, you can get close which I'm sure most of us want, but some classes and builds are simply better suited for certain roles.
Additional game modes would help most I think, kill the meta gameplay by adding new techniques. But I wouldn't hold my breath on that people have been asking for a new 5s map for over a year now.
