I hope I wrote that right. Anyway, Akro said extravaganza will happen, to save the event items that we bought. I figured it wont be before mod4 is out because that's a lot of work. Any ETA on that? On the weekly sales?
Well, if nothing else, you'll have enough Aqua Regia for a ton of potions, right?
My guess is that they've had a ton of other stuff to work on (new module, debugging said module, that one exploit from a couple weeks ago, the upcoming events) and haven't had time to figure out what the problem was and fix it yet. I'm sure it'll come back when it's less 'busy' event-wise.
Looks like someone found a clue. All of my Alchemy packs in the AH were purchased by the same person during the night, and when I woke up there were no Alchemy packs on sale in the AH, so I suppose that same person purchased them all. Also, there are significantly less purple Alchemy assets than what they used to be.

It's in the calendar in game.
My Foundry Quests:
The Silver Sword - NW-DEIPWYISA - Daily Qualified A Relaxing Stay - NW-DEEYNZYZ9 - Daily Qualified but going to be updated
Nice to see this event comes back. However, there is now a discrepancy in the companion's quality. The companion name being shown in calendar is blue text, while it is purple in its tooltip.
== EDIT ==
The companion's is actually purple quality.
what's the event about? bonus while doing alchemy or something?
Speeds up asset refinement (the tools and alchemists) dramatically and there's an alchemist companion that you can grind for ... unless you already have a lot of aqua regia or purple materials around, in which case you can just buy the crafting mission to get him.
Because the vendor NPC artifact is one of my more damaging for single target and I can get it to purple quick enough to buy major healing potions, then use my Alchemy to upgrade them to DISTILLED. I likely wont see bringing the book to its max level in any of my characters' lifetime but it sure is handy to have the Alchemy profession, and a sorta Alchemist/vendor NPC and now an Alchemist companion?! Yes, I am very excited about the Alchemy Extravaganza!!

So, we have a week for this event... and my alchemy is only level 2. I think you need level 4 to craft Aqua Vitae, and level 14 to craft Aqua Regia... which seems like the easiest recipe to get Purified Lead. Am I pretty much screwed out of the event, unless I want to drop a ton of AD on the auction house?
Considering it was here before, you had no excuse to not level it if you really wanted to. However personally I think it's a rubbish event for both those that invest into the assets and those that craft it. 15 purple assets for 1 companion? No thanks!

No excuse? I just started playing Neverwinter a few weeks ago. No need to be rude. But thanks anyway for the roundabout information
You want a purple companion from only playing a few weeks? Isn't this a strange thinking? I don't go to a new chief and ask for 50,000$ for only few weeks work. o.o

Wasn't trying to be rude. Just saying that we had prior information when it was briefly previously available. I assumed that with your join date being Jun 2013 that you were an older player.

I'm not expecting instant gratification... I'm just asking if it's possible or not >_> What's with all the hostility?
I think comparing this companion to $50,000 is a gross overstatement as well lol.
About my join date, don't worry about it. I forget when I signed up with PWE or why.
without crafting you would have to buy a lot of purple tools from the AH and use them as trade. Basically this event was an idea to get rid of a large amount of Alchemcial tools in the game. The Alchemical pack was from a lockbox that was opened en masse and therefore was severely devalued.

I was under the impression this event was with the purpose of promoting alchemy for a bit, because it is, pardon my language, the most useless profession ingame. The only good thing are lvl 20 potions and maybe dyes, and I checked about those potions, they are nowhere near worth to make, just the mats required are more expensive than the potion itself. I am quite sad and I am hoping that something will happen that will promote this profession... Maybe something similar to gonds altar... Hint hint devs...

Normally the mats are not more expensive, aqua regia is only expensive now due to the event. It is normally still a good deal to make distilled potions and the potions of power/stamina.

I disagee. The mats are still a pain to make and you only get one at a time. I'd rather just pretend it doesn't exist. The one use I have for it is as an easy tier 3 result slot unlock at rank 3/4.
can someone tell me why I would want to give away all my mithral stuff for a companion, who's not even blue? And who has FIFTEEN mithral stones, crucibles etc? and 1500 aqua regia? The cost/value of the items needed to get this companion are astronimcal, I could buy maybe 3 purple companions on the TH if I sold 1500 aqua regia. Selling for about 1400 ADs on the TH, That's over 2 million ADs. And mithral stuff is selling for about 200k each, thats 3 mil. Am I missing something?

Odd that this is to accelerate people's Alchemy, but it actually
hyper inflates the cost of all the best stuff on AH, by destroying it.
If the progs then resell all of it later on the AH, that would be different.
Don't foresee that happening.
Did you really think anyone could steal the power of the god of thieves?

Vanity. People love that stuff. Especialy the collectors that are a big part of zen income. It's just my opinion, but right now alchemy is useless compared to other professions. The offer to convert all my valuable alchemy stuff into a companion that people will actualy WANT to buy (and mind you, it gives 310 in stats and has some prety cool abilities) is not something I would pass on. Maybe I would save crucibles for aritificing, but I melted all my philos/mortars as soon as this opened.

i got all the lead to get the codex straight up (started a few weeks ago when i saw the posts about it being fluked and pulled back til later) ... but now when i try to get it, it says i don't have room in my inventory. i have TONS of room! an open companion slot, inventory slots, resources slots, assests slots, special slots. so why can't i claim? anyone else having this issue?
" i don't have room in my inventory. "
