Can someone explain the change bilethorn is getting? From what I read about the patch notes it's only losing a tiny sliver of damage something like an extra tick of 16 damage per tick or something like that. Why is the sky falling because of that, or is there another change I missed?

I understand many TRs would be upset, but it is still a bug fix.
Any preconception about a certain aspect of a class which is based upon something that's not working right -- which is also well known that it's not supposed to be doing whatever it is currently doing -- is simply misplaced. In any case one should be fully expecting such will not last.
Considering it's more than a year, and only after reaching the 4th installment/expansion that it finally gets to be fixed, I'd say it ran its course for much more than expected.
I know I'm happy about the goddarnshizzle Roar getting a fix, which also heavily benefitted from an unintended bug. I am also verily sad about the "bug fix" with Vengeance's Pursuit that totally destroyed my initial original build. Both sides of the coin. Can't really take one without the other, so let's not get too far ahead of ourselves in with all the doomsaying.
People have been doomsaying about the TRs for ages, but yet, here we are. Those who will alst will last.

ROFLMAO A TR is throwing a Radiant Rank 9 on top of Perfect Bilethorn for a Flaming. Yeah, talk about people hitting the panic button.
What do you guys think of Terror?
I made a P terror specifially for PVP, and back when it was necrotic damage it was easily the best enchant to use with flurry. Alas, a week after I got it to the perfect level they nerfed necrotic damage. Terror has it's uses, but not in pvp. It can be good for Hrs, DCs, and GF in PVE. In pvp GPF>P terror in every way, at least for a rogue. Now that bile is going to be doing it's intended damage, it's still not a bad enchant, especially with flurry. It's just not nearly as good as it was. I'm looking at lifedrinker, if it ignores healing depression then It could be quite nice. Of course this may not be intended and could be changed down the line.
I'm not sure why people are saying that TR is dead after mod4. On live it's HR>GWF>TR>DC>CW>GF for combat and TR>HR>GWF>DC>GF>CW for node trolling. GWF is really being brought down to TR level, personally, I just don't see how one is going to be able to kill me anymore unless they are uber fantastic. HR is getting buffs to damage, but no more uber deflect healing. I don't really care if they hurt alot more if they can no longer take 5 flurries back to back and then drink a pot to heal the 10% hp they lost.
GF and CW are going to be tougher. But honestly, they were pretty much "free kill" before, now they actually might pose a threat. I've fought bile CWs before and 2v1 it really ruins my day. 1v1? not a problem at all. I can't see GF being a huge problem either, they lack the mobility and burst to effectively kill a TR.
SW? Who knows, but a caster class with no dodge mechanic? Sounds like a walking flurry magnet to me.
TR is in a good place right now, and I'm thinking that it will be in an even better one come mod4. The classes that had tremendous advantage against us will no longer, and the classes that were ROFL kitten-stomps we are going to have to take more seriously. I always felt bad when I came up against a good GF or CW and reduced them to puddles simply becuase I could see the clear handicap they had against me. Similarly I hated fighting a GWF for over a minute, chipping his HP down to half, losing 30% of mine in the process, only to have roar catch me with nothing but luck(I know some GWF can anticpate a stealth rogue and aim roar, i'm not talking about you guys) and then die from the prone chain. Or having a Hr come to a node, lay down a thorn ward and then just stand around picking his nose and there was nothing I could do to kill him.
Some of us are working on New Builds... But we wont have anything Live until we see what we get to work with.

actually let me Make a few points about your post.
1. Node holding hands down goes to HR... not a HR in the top 10 pages you will take a node off of. Sure you may troll the HR for 30 seconds. But he will chase you off or kill you. So many things broken about HR i don't even know where to start.
2. TR is a dead class, but us diehards will do what we can even if we have to fall on another proverbial sword, like alot of us did when they tried to Nerf Stealth last August. CW tears have really hurt our class.
3. Well, I play in that "uber fantastic" realm of pvp. Those GWF's will have immunity when sprinting, DR as well, 3 second stuns, retain most of their current damage and have a few new bags of tricks up their sleeves while all we have gotten is Nerfs to our builds for mod 4. The only thing that changes is my chance from killing a GWF from now to my chance in mod 4,
correction: GWF's can cancel out using Rush charges so chance remains the same, roughly 30-35 % chance for me to kill one of the of top level GWF's
4. TR is not in a good place right now. Every other class except for us and DC's are getting re-works. As of this writing I have participated in 13 PvP matches on my TR against the new changes and Warlocks. My "Current" conclusion is this.
If you see a TR on the top ...7 pages of the new leaderboard. He is being carried. TR is going to have it very rough in Middle to Top tier PvP...
Edit 2: Syndul... This will require larger thinking than just weapon Enchant. Whole build reworks are being tested brother...I will catch up with you in game or you can shoot me a tell. Do not be surprised we see a return of the Tenebrous enchant used in conjunction with GPF... Early returns look promising.

Bronzewood is going to go up in price for a couple reasons. Once Bile's new potential is found out, it will go up as well. Also keep in mind that Cryptic has said they will be reworking some of the enchantments so this could add more potential to others that are not being used much

Its old news to anybody who has been playing since last year. But with changes leading up to Tenacity and other changes, Tene's fell out of favor awhile back.
to maintain what little DPS we have right now though, we are exploring old and new things.

I'm dangling a Bilethorn trade right now because I want to try Flaming. Something different. But the enchantment is far from dead. If I can't trade I'll still be very happy to use it. Why? I rarely used DF in PvP. I was getting pretty good at it too but hated it. Pretty **** cheap. Mind you, didn't hold it against anyone who could hit me with it. Which is rare and I think they were target locking me.
Either way, I get a buff by DF being fixed. I use Gloaming Cut and I use it well.
Also keep in mind that a lot of CWs will use it until TRs and stealth become less dangerous in pvp. So its value should come back around.
That's true. Ever since a good friend of mine gave me my Perfect Bilethorn, around before module 2 I think, I've known about the DF+Bilethorn bug. I made countless parse logs on it. I was happy it benefited me, but I never much invested hope towards its permanence. I knew it was going to get fixed eventually, which is why I've always gravitate more into Vorpal builds. It took a lot of work to craft a Perfect Vorpal for myself, but now I'm glad that I did.
Bilethorn is one thing we TR has going for us. It's sad to see it hammered down. But I can't feel sorry for others who took a bug for granted and borderline exploited it.

If a stealth nerf comes in lieu of boosting back single target damage and reworking underperforming feats, then I welcome the change.

From begun of game they nerfed TR using as excuse complains of forum trolls. TR is only class in this game which:
-in each patch was nerfed, never improved
-half of nerfs were made without making any sign just to make sure those unfair nerfs will not be noticed
So tell me why would they make such a important changes, as trying to nerf duelist flurry, making shocking execution useless, hidden? And right before this module 4 they tried to make duelist flurry useless and also nerfed again weak skill which is wicked reminder. That leaves you to think what they will do with class naming it ,,rework'' doesn't it?

TR stealth will not be reworked.
Did you notice how warlocks powers are all anti stealth?
Warlock has a beam that hits everything in its path to its target (if warlock runs in a wide sweeping arc around its target then TR will be hit by the beam.. Imagine that beam has fire / plaguefire enchantment / lightning enchantment / the TR will be visible instantly and lose stealth)
Warlock has an attack where it summons objects around itself that automatically attack nearest enemy (including stealthed players)
So much more....
If stealth was going to be reworked so many powers that were created to hit people in stealth would not have been made to do so.
If stealth is being reworked then all aoe powers and all beam powers will have to not hit you in stealth period, or stealth will be worthless.

As for all TRs stuff getting nerfed...I gave up, I will be playing warlock only after m4. Thanks you CWs and other garbage classes for crying about rogues in pvp. I just hope I will be prominent enough with my perfects/rank 10s and the best companions to overDPS any mage I can find and then mock at them as hard as I can.
we will get some changes and for damages and survivability im quite sure i will have to give up on perma.
i sold mine p.bile for a p.vorpal and i m farming for the purified set. Should do some testing with the new overload enchants and greater tenebrous.
probably g.plague or p.lifedrinker will be a better choice for pure contesting.

i sold mine p.bile for a p.vorpal and i m farming for the purified set. Should do some testing with the new overload enchants and greater tenebrous.
probably g.plague or p.lifedrinker will be a better choice for pure contesting.
