Seriously... cool it with the blind invites.

If you're gonna invite someone to your guild or party... talk to them first. Blind invite spam is getting a bit nutty again.

Just sayin.

Ive taken to fighting back. Anytime I get a random invite, I accept. And then proceed to by the worst troll or annoyance I can possibly be. I force them to remove me, and possibly rethink their recruiting methods.

I have yet to get a blind invite here. In other games I have but before I ignore the invite or accept it. I check the guild out first. If it is a large guild then most of the time I will accept.

Blind invites are annoying as hell. You just wait by the Campfire and someone just "invites" you to help him/her with some quest that's supposed to be solo-able, not even saying "hi" or asking if you have the time. This is especially annoying if they can't take a hint when you decline the invite and they invite you again and again.
That being said, these people are probably never gonna read your post. One reason is that some of them don't speak English in the first place. Sometimes that's the reason why they don't say anything before they invite you.
I had guild mates that used invite random people in PE to join their Dungeon run. I pointed out to them that they shouldn't do that because it's annoying and they continued to do it anyway. Even if these people read the forum and com across your post they're not gonna care.

i get these every once in a while but not enough that i'd consider it a problem. if any one individual continually harasses you with friend invites, guild invites... all you have to do is block them and/or report them.

Ignoring doesn't stop people from harassing you with party invites. I had to report 1 guy many times before it finally stopped, but it did stop eventually.

I thought I saw an option to whitelist/blacklist yourself from guild invites... no?

Not always true. They can get big just by advertising the guild.
