Probably from the Coins of Waukeen event that starts on the 17th. Likely he was turned on by accident and not fully done (hence talking about flowers instead of whatever his real text will be).

Oh i'll take a teleport scroll to the Moonstone Mask. That's certainly my favourite mailbox if i need to sit quietly and sort out some business.

Isn't this area only accessible by Hero of the North folks? I see yet another change that lessens the value of having made this purchase.

No, this is in the general area of the Moonstone, not the VIP area.

What are you smoking thinking the whole tavern is off-limits to everyone but Heroes?

And putting an event merchant in the VIP room would be... why would they do that?

I figured the Coins of Waukeen event sounded like it would be similar(ish) to the Gifts of Tymora. Thanks for posting the goodies.

Golden Pantaloons are a great nod to Baldur's Gate!

The latest patch on Mimic updated the merchant. He know longer talks like the flower merchant, has text related to the coins event, and updated his offerings.

I will add the the weapon skins are BoP like the ones from CTA, not BoE like the Sunite ones.

Kind of wonder what the drop chances are going to be like, and which of the other items in the boxes will be BoP. With nothing to spend the coins on but bound weapon skins, accumulating a lot of them while trying to get something else could be tiresome, and I have to assume the coins be bound.

Disappointed that the dye is packs again and not bottles as reported above. Not just because it's not a freebie dye bottle, but because gold dye bottles would offer a great new avenue of customization by being added to the available colours.

So, more cheap dragon eggs incoming, and potentially enormous jackpots of rough ADs.

Yeah, I was really hoping for a gold dye bottle. It is what I need to complete the look on my character.

As for the dragon eggs, it shouldn't be as bad as the Tymora event because you need to convert 8 of the normal drops to have a chance to get a dragon egg.

I'm assuming those are Waukeen coins even though they look like Seal of the Pegasus...?
Kerensa Loreweaver, level 60 DC | Rilla Turtledove, level 60 CW | Calvin Meriwether, level 60 TR
Kaylee Krankenwagen, level 60 GF | Tavandruil Wayfinder, level 49 GWF | Aldith Langley, level 51 HR

You might want to check out the test server. It now says 64000 rough astral diamonds for 8 coin purses and 256000 for 32.

Is the event like the Tymora event? Or do i have to fight over drops/monsters etc. with other players similar to the not so great, summer festival with the irritating flower picking stuff?

Can the things that are needed for the boxes be farmed in the foundry? This would be great.

From the description the NPC gives (see my link earlier in the thread) it sounds just like the Tymora event. Just this time you have the option to upgrade the boxes to some that give better rewards.

250k rough astral diamonds? With the cap on refining, that's a little... disappointing.

They can't do anything to please some people, can they?

And its a *chance* for 256k AD. 'One of' from the list.

well looks like you need to play this sh.. on an alt :D with that much rough ad`s stacking up.
but i realy wonder where it is about, with so little announcement. only seen players talk about it
aa, there are the patchnotes ;p finaly

lol thought the 256k would be normal diamonds, because it takes so long to cash them in, especialy if you re playing that char.
so i`m going to do this s...stuf on an alt

pants look nice, if you can paint it and get the same latex shinyness:D

Sure as hell know I don't care too much about this event due to the ROUGH AD rewards...I already have a ton because its so easy to get over 24k a day...adding more to it is pointless.

Only way to use them is to have a ton of characters and use them on Alts - I play 5 and have 8 more for invoke/prof so no worries.

I think buying character slots is a good investment - if you get 1 coal ward the slot pays for itself.

so.. i have some chars to choose from. but what would be the best tact ?
my bet is still on dc`s, pulling huge groups and able to survive.
i only have 1 cw, not sure if i would be just as effective on that ;p

wish i had a lvl20 dc now :D, it`s horrible how the content is scaled on those levels.
can pull over 20 mobs without a problem :)
which are higher levels even .

    patch notes:

    known issues

The Coins of Waukeen special drop item, Waukeen's Coin Purse, is not dropping with the intended frequency when grouped.

i don`t know anyone anyway ;p but good to know.

Ppl used to play "box"-foundries with CWs in order to get Tymora drops. I didn't have one back then, but it was quite successful reportedly.

yes. foundries. i reported one foundry once where you could just go afk and shoot 100`s of mobs.
hope that kind of stuf is fixed. it`s about 3 months ago, so can say it i think ;p
but groups drop less loot is in patch notes.
just saying again because there`s a s behind cw :d

i`m so excited i almost pass out :D but have that stuf more, then play and be bored soon.
but hm 256k is more then a 100k pet ;p with fluctuating stuf :D
