I think this game is missing bind to account stuff. It is one way to deal with the issues in GG. Instead of bind the gear to account. Players would still want to run it to gear other characters, but won't be able to flood the market with the items. Also be great for zen store items, I know I would buy more things if I could move them around my characters. Instead I look for free solutions.

At the moment, there is no way to transfer items that are bound to account (XP boosters from Caturday packs), so they might as well be character-bound anyway.

I'm just saying that until a way of transferring account-bound items is implemented, it's not a viable solution. As it is, you can't mail them, and there is no such bank.
I think it would be a good idea once the infrastructure is in place for it.
would it be possible to make the bank slots account-wide so no matter what character you are logged into, you see the same bank slots? and the number of bank slots could be associated with the number of active toons you have.

The word is that we won't get account banks until after the servers merge.
Knowing Cryptic we most likely wont see shared account storage, and therefor the ability to trade account bound items, until they can package it with something. Like player or guild housing.
They should fix it then. Totally agree with OP though, the lack of bind to account is quite frankly disgusting. I understand there;s really no incentive for them, as a company to do this, but it would be a very good step in the right direction from the player base perspective (yes, I speak on behalf of all). It makes me cringe everytime one of my characters hits a 10 level mark and swaps out equipment only to be nothing else to do with that equipment than to npc it for a pittance.

it's hard to say, since their track record with this is mixed. On one hand, in Champs, as I know you know, it is like you say, bundled in with player housing, though subscribers do get one unlocked for "free."
Meanwhile, in STO, it's not bundled with anything, but getting it requires either buying it, or subscribing for the first "free" section of it. Granted, there probably wasn't an equivalent to bundle it with in STO, since the closest they have to player housing (ship interiors) is a free feature anyway (except for special premium ones).
I have a feeling that it's just going to be a straight up purchase from the start whenever it is introduced. If any of it is free, it will be a teensybitty bit, less than their other games start you with even. And of course it will be expandable, so they can sell more. The only reason I think that this will happen instead of putting it in a package deal is that this will probably make them money faster, since the system is already partly in the game, and they won't have to wait for player housing to be designed.

^THIS would be a complete WIN in my opinion.
