I'm playing a DC in such build, and that is with very low gear score, Less then 9k, Just stack Blues and Greens, Regen/Defence items, with as many defensive slots as possible, stack HP in those defensive slots. The only way i'm goin down is if i'm being CC'd and 2 pve dps, nuke me at the same time.

CW can do the exact same thing and go for AoE CC, dodge dodge dodge, AoE CC, dodge dodge dodge.

And, i will also say that, 24% armour pen is what you want for PVE, for PVP, we're talking about 40-50% ignored. And if you stack ArP to get to those numbers You're wasting alot of pve dps. Slot a Defence debuff instead, and stay at around 15-20% Arp.

I would drop your DC like a bad habit with my CW or TR.... lol 40-50% dmg resistance ignore... idiotic even mentioning that people need that much to bring down tanky spec'd toons in pvp.

All i see is toons with 7-8kgs trying to kill 13kgs GWF. LMAO, if you bring your GS closer to GWF you would be singing different tune.

One of the best Sent GWFs on Mindflayer has an 8k GS. How? Nearly all blue items with Regen and HPs, and 7 Greater Tenebrous.

This topic needs a nerf. Will you PvPers quit asking for nerfs. Stop trying to screw up the PvEers. Learn to play your class instead of call for nerfs.

Because we don't care about PvE. duh.... Stop letting the PvE get in the way of our PvP.

Lol this is such a wierd statement, as a bad habit is inherently hard to drop =P

With CW maybe, if you get support from another dps, with TR, only if you get support from a GF or CW.
I played with you in Arsenal btw,

I know this is off-topic (but the thread has already gone off-topic)

So if I have above 80% damage reduction (it caps at 80%) say I have 96%. If you had 16% ArP would it be reduced to 64% or still be 80%? I ask b/c unstoppable gives 50% + my 46% heh.

I might be remembering wrong....but I vaguely recall that the 50% is in regards to the defence you already have.

    50% of 46% is 23% for a total of 69%.

Again...don't hold me too it...I don't have the threads handy in regards to the mechanic.

Yeah, Unstoppeble is a blank -50% dmg taken. If you would get hit for 200, you will get hit for 100 instead then add Defence on that - Arp/Debuffs.

Why did all the bads from other games come over to here. Isnt there more fully developed fantasy PVP out there? PVP should remain a side show. Why dilute a game that should be focused on stuff others do not, like user made content. Do not get me wrong, I love PVP in the right context.

Go play darkfall if all you want to do is run around and gank people, you even get to take their stuff.

I was 100% PvE until about a month ago. I have 1 of each class 60 except DC, he's 52, and I am a very casual player. I'm tired of running the same dungeon over and over. When you have even decent gear PvP can be quite fun, find some friends to run with, its even more fun on vent/TS.

Lots of people enjoy PvP, it's a part of every MMO and you can't just say "OMG this game is 100% PvE b/c I say it all, all PvP'ers have to leave now!!"

The problem is that the basic IP is PvE, and the classes were designed to complement each other to take on the multitude of evil hordes out in the wild. By making the classes equal for better PvP it is effecting that complementary design. It is forcing those of use who have no use or desire for PvP to play with your needs rather than ours. PvP is part of the the MMO experience, so the best solution I would say is make a separate server for the PvP crowd. I want this game to get closer to D&D, not further away as is necessary for PvP.

    PvP whiners need serious nerf...

Ok let's use some simple logic shall we. GF's are not getting a nerf, and therefore in devs mind are working as intended. GF's are pretty tanky but at the same time can put out huge burst and CC. The GWF can become even tankier than the GF, however the GWF does less than half the GF's damage if he builds for full tank like that. So increase tankiness = sharp decrease in damage. Now that said Tenes make it so the GWF can be both super tanky and huge burst, that is indeed OP. But what makes that OP? The tene enchant not the class build. For the 100th time, nerf the enchant not every class that uses it.

Actually I have a sent GWF with 0 tenes and I still do pretty decent damage. Sure it takes longer to kill than one combo, but I still hold a point for 90% of the game, and get kills while doing it.
