The real question here is why did cryptic feel they had to change so much? I think they are useless and didn't know how to do those things so decided on an easier version and we now see the result.

A turn-based tabletop game is going to need a fair amount of changes to convert it into an action MMO. There are differences from 4th edition D&D, but you will have to be more specific as to which are the ones that you think were wrong.

You might want to edit your post a bit as well.
Well a I have said before Control wizards in 4th edition use knives and wands, not floating balls, Trickster Rogues use crossbows and clerics can turn undead.
That is just what I have noticed, I am sure others can find more changes that need not be done but cryptic have.
