I noticed by chance the other day that the featured foreign quests typically have a much longer duration than what is acceptable by most American players I know. That sort of made me think they might have a less lazy perspective of what a quest should be than said Americans. I haven't actually tried them though. I can't read Peppy Le Pew.

The one I am talking about is actually around the 15 minute mark.
Go play one of the featured quests that is French and has 'Scorpions' in the name. (Sorry not home atm so I can't get the actual name.
Okay, so I went a ran it, and as I don't really speak French, I can't comment on the plot, but this seemed very mediocre and visually unimpressive. It was done decently, but not so much as to come and make a post on the forums about someone else's content.
What specifically inspired this post?
Religion - 60 GF (15.3k GS)
The Seeker - 60 DC (11.5k GS)
Faithless - 60 CW (10k GS)
I always find it funny that to Wushin, the ONLY way a quest is any good is if it reaches the two hour mark...I still don't see what's wrong with a great story, explorable areas, and great design in a 20-30 minute quest.
Also, about to go check this out!
My quest was deleted in July of 2013. There were no issues, it had not violated any rules. Was deemed a bug. That quest is still missing.

The last map has a very nice peach fog effect that I'm not sure how they did because I've tried using multiple fades to blend colors and it never seemed to blend them ingame. They used lots of god rays which always look good and dramatic. Those are a stock effect in Foundry that people tend to overuse because they look good, but they are used appropriately here based on the conditions (won't spoil it).
Warning, stacked encounters, bring pots for what seemed to be a triple stack.
I don't speak a lick of french so no idea about story.
Not impressed with the copy/paste trees floating off the side of the hills. I will admit the tavern was nice with customized NPCs doing random things though. Mobs standing idle in a road every 50 feet with such nice bushes nearby to ambush you with however is just...le meh.
There is a rumor floating around that I am working on a new foundry quest. It was started by me.
Yeah...just checked it out. It's nice, but there are quite a few that are better. I didn't understand the mobs that were just kind of standing there, every few feet, just....standing.......gah!
Also, the one fight with the ogre...holy HAMSTER! I can't imagine what those three stacked mobs at 60 would be like...or the two kobold wyrmpriests....
Tavern was not bad, but had some issues as well...the basic same stuff you see almost everywhere was present here, just laid out in a nice manner with some active NPCs, which is always good. Plot wise, it was ok, not terrible, not great....my french is rusty so some places I don't really know what was happening, but overall, it was a good plot.

Go look for me izatar so I don't look like an idiot :P I know we also played that german one that we liked a lot but it wasn't the phenomenal one I don't think.
It was not the one with 'scorpions' in the title!
I think she is talking about "Le Siege De Goldring"
And too late about looking like an idiot. Teehee.

Does "Le Siege De Goldring" show up in the featured? I was thinking it was part of a campaign that was the Scorpions one but hell I don't know anymore :P
You should definitely go play the quest in my sig then!
I loved the Fate of the Bonnie Kate Nezroy! I even gave it 5 stars... may have been weeks ago though. I then took izatar and 2 other friends through it.
Okay played the newest one you listed and while it was visually appealing and a fun quest, it needs some work, like 01 all over the place.
Have you played anything Apoc has done? I highly suggest you check out his Ravenloft and at the hand built Inn therein.

I have noticed that most french and german quests have object 01 and "Go to next map" all over the place. I am not sure if I have played Apoc's quests. I would assume so... but I will have to check again.
Comments
If it made you feel inadequate in fifteen minutes when you probably couldn't understand the dialogue I'm guessing they were really good decorators?
Thanks!
Guess I'll go check out the competition from across the world.

I know that one! And Le Poulet en Frites.
If we ever get trapped in France, at least we won't go hungry.

Made me feel like I was in Phenomenon.
Didn't understand a heck of a lot of it, despite the fact I took French.
