I looked around the Option settings, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it. It gets quite annoying having to login to pray, then logoff all the time. (at least when I'm at home most of the day and can actually do that)

Forced logout only occurs if you are AFK/Completely idle for 15 minutes or more. I don't think it can be disabled.

This exists in just about, if not, every MMO.
By simply sitting there, logged in, you're taking up server resources, etc.
In short, no there is no way to turn off the log off timer.
It's not there for the benefit of the players. It's there for the benefit of the servers.
Please extend the 15 minutes logout margin to as long as STOs. It's a very short margin, especially given the fact that if you dare logout in the middle of a mission you need to restart it again from the very beginning. You've done away with both problems in STO, where you can continue most missions from the point you left them and the logout is at 60 minutes. At this point, as it is, I'm afraid to go to the loo, with those 15 minutes, not even enough for a smoke, or to make a brew. This is seriously putting a dampener on my enjoyment here, I need to tell you this... I'm predicting mysels moving back to STO if this [and the lag/rubberbanding] aren't fixed within a logical amount of time...
doesnt really have much to do with the topic, except to show how wildly things are different in one game to the next.
in rift it takes a long time to get a forced logout, at least 20 minutes if not 30, and their forums have rage posts about make it faster because the servers are full of idle free players and they cannot log in.

It should stay at 15 minutes for free players but be bumped up to 30 for players who have made a purchase from the cash shop.
