I got a message from someone asking if metallic dragon/chromatic dragon conflict is part of FR or not.

    In response:-
Yes, metallic dragon exist in Forgotten Realms. There is also an official campaign regarding a female Silver Dragon in FR. They are able to take human form(metallic dragons only) so you dont see them often.
They hate chromatic dragons and Red dragon and Silver dragon are mortal enemies who kill each other at sight.

    Soooo.......no book list yet? ...

Working on it, but ended up starting more projects than I can handle ... I will still try my best to manage my free time. Haven't played an alpha in months ...

However it will take me quite some time to sort them out, write their synopsis, and note their significance to Neverwinter. I anticipate this time to be mid-May when the first draft of list be completed.

If you want to start, feel free to start with Netheril triology. It is the grandhistory of realms. The one before that was the rule of dragon and elves.

I am also writing a short write-up myself to fill in the gaps between the books in two three paragraphs. That is what taking more time than it should.

Notice: this will become unstickied in the near future. I encourage you to port this into the Official Wiki, as we are requesting of all user guides, as we'll no longer be sticking them due to having the Wiki at our disposal.

I don't think it is possible to import this to wiki. It is about lore and the in-game choices do not reflect this. I would just add it to a separate site which can be useful to foundry creators.

The main page is only modifiable by admins of the wiki.

That being said, basically everything off the main page is modifiable by the general user-base.
There will be more sections added soon enough. Import it and link it up at a later time.

    Or don't. Either or.
Point being, the wiki isn't set in stone and will be expanded as OOeyes stated.

Tieflings:- There was a very big empire known by the name Bael Turath. Its king went crazy and secretly performed the ceremony of BloodMoon in which he summoned Devils of Nine Hells and signed the contract with blood selling away the souls of common people of his kingdom. The king and nobles of his court got infernal powers because of it and became tieflings. That curse in the bloodline carried though all of the houses of Bael Turath and their features have goat horns and devil tails. They did not turn evil - they only became greedy and power hungry after becoming tieflings.[/B]

I've heard differently as to how Tieflings are created (nasty stuff). Did their origin change with 4e or was it always like this?

It changed with 4th. How Gillrmn explains it is pretty spot on, indeed.

Thanks for the info - but I'll never understand why they made an online game out of the most reviled and least played version of D&D.
    D&D DM/Player since 1982 - all versions except the despised 4e

I agree 4e looks kinda casual compared to 3 and 3.5 but that could well be the reason they used 4e instead of the better counterparts.
