Companions and Artifacts for tarmalunes should be at epic.

Right now there are few things to spend bars on, the problem is that if people keep on spending barrs on tha same couple of items eventually they will be worthless too. Most of artifacts and companions at uncommon quality didn't even hit 50k on AH.

    Doesnt help that most of that stuff come out of lockboxes, really wish they would rework the trade bar merchant, or give him unique companions/mounts

    The TTB store isn't for making AD on the AH (although that is a side effect). It is intended to give people an option to get *some* lockbox items after multiple attempts of opening boxes. So while they may add new items, I don't think they will up the quality, just so people can cash in.

    Just bring back C-wards to the Tbar store.

    Please.

    I only get them now when they go on half off sale once or twice a year and the AH value drops commensurately (for like 3 days).

    I have weapon and armor enchants I don't even think about upgrading, because the cost of the c-wards are so out of whack. Most purple enchants are much cheaper to buy as is on the AH (up to at least Perfect) than it would be to create your own from scratch using the shards, all because they are gated behind the cost of c-wards.

    I've got about 5500 bars atm, and there's nothing in the trade store that really appeals. Does need much more new stuff that's equivalent to lockbox rewards. And yes, to go back to an earlier post in this thread - the companions and artifacts in store do need to be upgraded.

    at least make them not green. *edit* that's the title of this thread. I only saw the first part. lol. yes I agree with the op. they should be at epic.

    NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I disagree, the Companions for Trade bars should be Legendary (Orange), but at Epic (Purple) Prices and do the same with Mounts Legendary (Orange) not Epic (Purple) and Both the Purple Epics should be sold at 1/2 price.

    I think they will stay well away from Legendary Mounts & Companions soley because their the primary motivator to the majority to continue to try opening more lockboxes.

    I do however strongly agree that for 850 tradebars it is a lot of lockboxes (about 200 if you average slightly more than 5 per box) one should NOT see only uncommon companions at such a high price. I'd argue perhaps even some rare companions with unique active bonus not in Cstore / Lockboxes / Dungeon Chest which are more rarely available could be 595 trade bar's but require a bit more upgrading.

    Still I think most would just like to see a few more options! One thing I'd certainly welcome is aside from the companion changes is possibly an option to buy 2 more companion upgrade tokens with tradebars. o:)

    For those of us who have been unfortunate enough never to have dropped a legendary mount from a lockbox, but have accumulated several thousand tradebars along the way, it would be nice to have the option to buy a legendary mount from the tradebar store.

    I don't mind if it's BtC/BtA, but it would be an adequate consolation for the number of lockboxes purchased without a legendary.

    I wouldn't like to venture a cost for the mount in store, but it should be reflective of the AH price of mounts.

    I also feel that for the number of lockboxes involved in amassing enough tradebars for an artifact or a companion, obtaining them at green is really poor value. Upgrading an artifact to epic is no big deal for an established player, but 1200 tradebars is a lot no matter how your luck with them runs. Upgrading a companion to epic is not something you want to enter into lightly, so 800 tradebars plus a ton of AD is a bad deal.

    Still, I know that players do buy this stuff and my heart breaks a little every time I see someone proudly announcing, "finally got enough tradebars for [overpriced thing]".
