Where is the Abandoned Strongbox reward for this daily? But I don't see it in inventory. After completion, I see in the log, "You have received an unknown item".
And the mobs don't count towards Secure the District task. Seems like a useless quest.
I didn't see anything to indicate the box opened, no dialog, no scrolling list of items. It feels like the box is no longer rewarded for the quest. If they want to auto-open it that's fine, but they need to make sure we know we got it. As it stands now it appears to be a broken quest.

As a side note, it seems you can do this quest twice per day. If you do it just after daily reset, it will show a 20-hour reset time, so you can pick it up just before the next reset...ane then it will reset again at the usual time.
Hoping for improvements...

Turn on "inventory notify" in your log right after the quest resolves and you'll see that you received some campaign items. 30 resources and maybe an EoE.
Or keep "inventory notify" on all the time if it makes you feel less paranoid. I find it gets annoying.
(They changed the reward from Reclamation Specialists so that you actually get the box and open it yourself, but did not patch this quest at the same time. You get rewarded though, honest.)
SORRY but they leave no choice but to post on someone else post. I need to get a mouse or joystick to control my character. If the wads keys are the only controls I have I need to remove this game from my pc now.
They're correct. The box opens automatically and the reward flashes very quickly in the bottom right corner of the screen. It's easy to miss, so I understand the concern.
Yup.. and if you are really concerned about watching what you collect, you can always rearrange your hud and move it from lower right corner to somewhere a bit more noticeable,, I personally moved mine next to the campaign log,, Similarly, I moved the loot roll results next to the mini map as that was just plain annoying popping up in the middle of the screen
Also, the Nashers guarding these dockhands do count towards the Secure the Area - however your Secure the Area needs to be the Nashers variation (me and my partner drop the quest and repick until we get Nashers on each of our toons).
