Well, since the Winter Festival companions come along in all quality levels from uncommen to epic, and most of them are boe, you can make a lot of AD by banking them now and then selling them over the next year.
Not to mention, that new players might still have use for a decent rare or even epic companion.

Besides, 500k AD for all accounts?
Botters will have the time of their life with collecting all that AD from their hundreds of current accounts, and the ZAX will be backlogged for a very looong time.

An better idea could be a new Khyek, that has it's own inventory, where we could stash all the fish we catch during our game time.
Or a new inventory tab for keys,
or a new inventory tab for quest items,
or a new inventory tab for RP items,
or some nice upgrades to the ViP system...

You want to further break an already very broken economy?

Besides that, I'm sure at least some of the presents in the parcels sell for 500k or more, if you are lucky enough to get unbound ones. I'm once again hoping for a Forgehammer of Gond, but Tymora doesn't love me enough yet.

I'm thinking that Tymora needs a sacrifice. I tried sacrificing some AD, but that didn't work. Maybe I'll sacrifice some fish. I have an abundance of that.

I want the old armors as transmutes ( Profound, Draconic etc). Should be easy. The models and meshes are already there.

Try this little experiment:
+ Clear your ignore list, or use a new account.
+ Move your character to PE and start reporting the AD seller bots for an hour.
+ Count those spammers you have on your ignore list, multiply their number with 24, then with 365, and then with 500k.

Let's say it is a slow day, and they come up with a fresh account every 15 minutes, that would be 4 accounts per hour, 96 accounts per day, 35040 accounts for this year, those botters would be able to collect 17.520.000.000 AD from this gift.

And imagine that amount of AD would end up in the ZAX, btw. around 1m AD is turned into ZEN per day...
Now go ahead and calculate the backlog this gift would create.

And i'm not even counting in all the regular players, that have more then one account.

That helps bot even more than regular player.
Bot has many accounts (thousands) and usually not many character per account.
Real players usually have many characters but not many accounts.

Let me remember what I got from the previous winter festival.

1. Forgehammer of Gond (for the wrong character)
2. Artifacts
3. Companions. Yes, we have tons of them but the one I care the most is the one that comes with lesser bonding stone.
4. mounts
5. retraining tokens.
6. C-ward, p-ward. (this one I am not too sure. I think I did get them but not 100% sure. Getting old)

Not that.. you know I care alot atm.. but 500k is nothing.. nothing, its 2-3 days solid grind.. maybe 4 if you spread it around alot.

It would mean nothing to me personally. nor would it help out any goodwill on my side.

If they wanted to so somehint, revamp mod 10 to be more alt friendly and fix some of the long list of issues already complained about.

Mod 10 is what is killing this game, not access to astral diamonds

(though they could give us a bone and reduce companion upgrade pricing by about 50% more to the levels I SUGGESTED after leadership removal) they are still far to high.

I would like a wardrobe / something like a stable, for all the freaking fashion items i have to keep in the bank or my bags.
Do not get me wrong i like them very much.
But between collecting fish / refinement items / potions / different chests / keys / scrolls ... and etc.
The bags get pretty full , pretty fast.

I'm on the same boat, I really want a forgehammer of gond. Tymora loves us all, what you need is to make some prayers and offerings to Beshaba so she turns her sight away from you :P

I had really bad luck, like every year.... all i got was special packs for black ice and prof. packs. No hammer . =(

That is too little.
It is like 120 tokens to get something from epic to legendary. That means 240 for 2 , and with the rest you can not even get something to epic from blue cos you need 90 if i am not mistaken.

Speaking of gifts, do they usually have the free bag/fashion set/preservation ward claim around Christmas, or is that usually only around anniversary time? For some reason I keep thinking it's twice a year they do them, but things are blurring together.

I would love if Cryptic would turn Bound to player (Avenger Rings and Companion Items)to Account Bound (anyone who have those sitting in inventory would have an easier time using those on another character )

I can't say for sure, if they have those items within every seasonal event, but i still have some fashion stuff "banked" in the mail, and several Pres. Wards plus Retraining Token Packs in the account bank stored from last Winter Festival too.

That wouldn't be exactly a present and I don't know how many would appreciate it if it was, but I would like them to add a concept about personalized weapons (i.e. weapons like swords, hammers, axes etc that you can manufacture and name as you like, which bodes well with the standing tradition{all those weapons named, someone made and named them first, right?}). In my mind and so that there no chaos with so many new weapons, they could keep those either a)internally for the player only to see, or b)keep the sword or hammer etc part of the weapon and add a new "X blabla.. weapon" next to it for all weapons and to avoid frequent name changes keep the first name you give to a weapon(IF you want to rename it, I imagine this would preferably be so for artifact(or better) types of weaponry.

BTS and Bear your sins fixed before they nerf the DC..

you know make things that should be working correctly before you go nuke mode on it at least..

Also would be nice that Divine glow, did something like use weapon enchant effects and make normal, divine and empowered do something unique..

how about going back to mod 6 and taking my advice on both gaes and warding flare.. telling you they were unnecessary , completely futile skills back then.. they are still that today.

Most classes got at least one usable skill out of the 2 new ones.. you gave the dc zippo.
That is my list of complaints with just one of my classes I play.. there is many many more.

Its hard to balance classes when half the skills/feats dont even work correctly.

last year with Tymora event, i called her Goddess of Junks, dont think she got anything we wanted. she kept giving low tier items that cluttered our inventory bags. i think she ran out of good stuffs years ago.
she is mark for death, it long overdue, she has been and usefullness ended, target by Cult of Masks,
