Summer Event (Mithral Tickets and Prizes)

Hello I have over 6000 volleys used easily over a 100 mithral rickets and seen nothing from the legendary mount box. Prices on the Tradehouse are the same for all said drop items for the tickets as well. Is this stuff not dropping!? Post your feed back here.

Not surprising. The odds must be very low considering it is a legendary mount and the event lasts for 3 weeks. I expect the odds are similar to opening lockboxes so lots of disappointed faces all around

I just want a pig (My awesome guild has a thing for them). More a casual than serious player to get to caught up with doing a ton of volleys for Mithral tickets. (I know the devs are happy with themselves) If I had an abundance of time I probably would though. If it is providing fun that's all that matters. Wish everyone good fortune.

Based on the posts in the trade channel it looks like some people have legendary drops, myself I am just happy to be getting packs of influence for now. I have only turned in about 10 tickets so far and all have yielded silver tickets. I am going to guess the drop rate is far less than 1%.

Epic drops seem to be a lot easier to get then legendary. In my 5 person volley group alone we won 3 epic mounts, 2 artifacts, and 1 skeleton steed on roughly 200 mythral tickets per person. It seems the skeleton steed is a more common legendary drop then the other mounts.

I can confirm that—as some have speculated—you are more likely to receive a prize from either of the epic raffles than you are from the legendary raffle. This is to account for the overall value of the items and the number of tickets used. (1 ticket, regardless of raffle.) While I cannot comment on the specific drop rates, the order of magnitude of that difference is what one would expect given the difference in price as well as rarity from other sources.

As there's been a lot of discussion on this topic, both here and on other venues, I thought it might help to clear that up. Seeing as this was ultimately not obvious from the current raffles, we're looking at ways to potentially make that more obvious in future runs of the event. Thanks for all your feedback and good luck in the raffles!

Raffle my butt. I have over 20,000 volleys, well over 200 mithril tickets in, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE VOLLEYS WAS LEGIT! Every single one was either quested or paid for with zen. Tons of people ABUSED A GLITCH and got mounts either with hundreds of unethically obtained tickets or on their first couple tickets. I have been in groups with people who have put in nearly the exact same number of tickets as me..they received 3+ legendary mounts. I have been in groups with people who put in TWO tickets and got a legendary mount.

So ask yourself asterdahl, do you really think it is good marketing to allow people to profit from a glitch while simultaneously HAMSTER over devoted customers? As it now stands, you owe EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US who bought balls and put in hundreds of tickets with no rewards a legendary mount as compensation for your glitch and letting all those cheaters keep their ill gotten gains. You also need to immediately fix your drop rate or guarantee a mount after a certain number of volleys. I have had three friends who were constant vip, regular real money spenders quit in the past two days because of this nonsense drop rate you have. They had 3x the volleys as me with NO MOUNTS! while we see 3rd party AD buyers stocking up on multiples, glitch users getting multiples, people scamming for volleys getting them with 1 or 2 tickets.

I for one will not give you another red cent until you address this. It is one thing for "random chances" another thing entirely when it clearly is not random, blatant cheating occurred and nothing was done, and there is absolutely no customer loyalty for spenders. Why should we pay you when we feel cheated? Or do you guys not like money? Wonder how your board would feel about not liking money.

I'm sorry, but if you really thought that the legendary mount drop...not to mention one of the most sought after mounts in the game, was going to be a gimme during this event, you are crazy. RNG is RNG, so people will turn in 1 ticket and get a drop, others will turn in a million and not. And since they seem to be stuck in the "RNG and repetition makes good gameplay" model here....thats probably not going to change any time soon.

yeah except most of the legendaries people have gotten were from a GLITCH! and should be removed immediately. if they get to keep them then they can damn well give those who paid a mount. Also RNG is clearly not how this works given how many mounts certain people who should not be named are getting.

and like others said.. RNG... derp.. you shouldn't have spent a fortune on this. seriously better off just buying keys or just outright buying the mount. it was apparent to me from day one pretty much. with that many volleys how much did you spend.. there is only so much you can earn..

no sympathy on this one.

There is no evidence that would support the claim that the mounts obtained by a glitch or the theory that only a select few are repeatedly "given" legendary mounts.

the glitch was the reusable balls giving tickets, people abused it, used the mithrils for mounts, and were allowed to keep them. Don't act like an idiot.

There is NO evidence that the glitch granted a legendary mount, unless you are admitting it. Other than that...you have no proof

no proof? there are DOZENS of twitch streams and youtube vids showing them DOING IT and then showing them turning in the mithrils for mounts. You are either being willfully ignorant or trying to defend your own abuse of the glitch.
