A better solution, together with my previous one, is to allow players buy Banners of the Fallen with Seals of triumph (1:1) and, also, buy banners with glory (250:1). Also, with glory, players should be able to buy Seals of triumph (500:1) too.
the best offer

[Strongbox of the Fallen] for Glory - Ok; [Banner of the Fallen] for Glory - No; Lionsmane = 48x Strongbox Keys, No?
You might want to go back and re-read - or maybe actually 'read' my posts again. There's no excitement there. Lots of people have lionsmane sets. They all worked to get them. Anyone who doesn't have one and wants one should be required to do the same work to get theirs. What's your problem with that? Should it be easier for you than it was for everyone else?
The only comment I've seen that has any merit is the one claiming - correctly - that siege is less popular now than it has been in the past, so it's harder to line up the matches. That's also true for items that are only available during events - if you missed out on those, they're gone.
If you do want to come up with an alternative way to get banners, the level of effort needs to be just as high. Do that and I'm in. Cave to all the whiny 'where's mine' entitled brats and I'm not. The unfortunate reality is that most of this discussion is a waste of time and energy - I doubt it'll change, no matter how good the proposals are.
It isn't necessary to tell about a hard work which was done by the players who received all set. I received a complete set in two days on RU server. It was boring, but quickly enough. It was when sieges appeared in game.
And now I have 6 banners playing nearly two months here. Even when I see instans sieges, I seldom get on it. "Map transfer failed" or just queue disappears.
Explain your logic when you compare players grinding for a few days lion set on siege, with players who can't get on them at all?
The logic doesn't change, @katerrot - I'm not saying 'ha ha it sucks to be you, you get nothing and like it', I'm saying that you're not at any particular disadvantage that didn't affect all the players who managed to get the lionsmane parts they wanted. I'm also saying that it isn't fair to people who had to struggle with the broken system to get it if it magically becomes easier for the next person.
Here's another thought exercise: let's say you got into SH siege easily, but didn't score enough points to get any banners because, for whatever reason, you got stuck with a bunch of deadbeats or paired against pre-mades over and over. I just solved one problem - free access into an instance any time you want, but you still don't have banners, and therefore, you still don't have lionsmane. Would you be back 2 or 3 days later complaining that the system that requires you to be successful isn't fair, and that banners should be an attendance trophy?
I know that comes off as harsh - I used 'you' a lot in that example but I didn't mean to personalize it, you could be awesome, but I'm still stuck on the idea that once they've introduced something and a few thousand people have suffered through it, I see no obvious path that gets them to making it easier for others without pissing an awful lot of people off.
Oh... @clonkyo1 , I have no idea what you're talking about, sorry.
If to you it was bad, let to other players it will be bad, so? You don't want to support idea about the imminent necessary changes, you prefer present idiotic system. 3 banners a month, wow, cool, I will receive a set only in three or four years, every time feeling improbable delight concerning owlbears and pre-mades. Also I won't tread on delicacy of one's sense of right and wrong.
@rschrager you do realise that I'm not asking for a revamp of siege pvp just to make ME enjoy pvp, right??
The majority of people find siege pvp to be a complete bust ( by your previous statements I'd indclude you in that category)
So how is changing something for the better for all players a bad thing in any way what so ever?
Also you say that it's not fair for this broken system to change because there are people who have legit grinded for their lionsmane set in recent times which btw is max 2-3 games a day.
I'd like to know
A) Who these people are in the Australian Time Zone
B ) How often they were able to get into matches and between what times
C) Would they be upset if new changes were made to make it a better experience for ALL players, new and old

Less whining more grinding for your gear..
If things get really bad make a channel for sh battles with guild or alliance or friends..

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!
Hey pal - I sympathize with you, I really do, but I just have a hard time with the idea of refusing to reward someone who puts more time and energy into something than I do. They didn't buy lionsmane gear, it wasn't a RNG reward from a chest... they sat thru the same broken system you're (rightfully) complaining about, some of them potentially at the same bizarre time of day that you're dealing with, and earned it. As a game designer, that's how you get people to keep coming back and playing a game... by giving them something meaningful to work towards! Their intent was to get people like you to say 'hey - I want some too!' and play more to make it happen, but in your case, they seem to have failed based on the fact that you chose to ditch your stuff and bail instead.
The SYSTEM may be the same... but the availability of runs is not. If you could only have gotten one run per week, would you have Lionsmane today?

Dead🔪less people will be upset from -
the fact that someone has received a set "for free"

100% spot on
There is a "i need banner" channel... you can sit & talk with up to a dozen ppl also trying to run the event while your not queueing for SH seige
