Best DPS class?

Currently the SWs in my guild are the top dps easily without any gfs or DC help and they do not use any glitched mechanisms and as a gwf I'm having a hard time out dpsing them haha

You need to get better at your class then (unless their item level is a lot higher than yours) because SWs are pretty weak without group buffs ask any SW main on here or PC. If that wasn't the case there wouldn't be a SW class rework in the process right now.

I'm almost a max level gwf and currently the best in my guild( paragon gaming) and I'm happy to direct you to our sw that I garuntee will out dps anyone in this game on Xbox

Iy main support so I'm not going to attempt to out DPS anyone . I'm not saying a well geared fury SW that knows his class can't deal damage without bugs but it shouldn't be greatly out dpsing a similarly geared GWF unless they're doing something wrong. ESPECIALLY since LM still hasn't been nerfed.

I'm sure if you played with him you would be very surprised at how well he knows the class and has found the perfect feats set up!

If you check out the PC Forums they have a similar thread. The general consensus is GFs are top DPS......Not sure if its an elaborate hoax.

Also I'm a decent GWF and I've played against very high level SWs and not been out DPsed. Your guildie may have the secret formula.

Also some dungeons are better for certain characters.

There's also a good thread on the PC forums about the Paingiver charts not being an accurate reflection of 'top DPS'.

Remember when OP could bounce damage back and forth with multiple bubbles and do over 500mil dmg in a dudngeon? Yeah, me too.

What are your rotations? What's your build?

My SW is only 2.4k, has less than half his boons so far & his freebie renegade companion has lesser bondings. He has rank 7 enchs and rank 60 artifacts (i.e. barely purple).

But I want to get him some DF armor so I lent him my CW's vorpal and negation today and ran him through a couple of ETOS.

First run was a pug group with a 2.6k GWF & TR. I topped Paingiver at 135 mill...
Second run was with guildies, so they were better specced & the scores more even, but I still came top at around 80 mill.

I couldn't believe it - I may just transfer the rest of my CW's stuff over - lol.

LOL glad I have both toons. Are SW still using puppet builds? Ill go back to my SW when Fury Hellbringer are back to were they should be.

He uses fury/hell bringer and says the build is only viable when you are over 3.5 IL and have near 100% Crit and large amounts of power and yes he does use merc with rank 12 bonding stones

Sounds like lazalia's mod 5 build I used to use. It was really good before the current puppet build, havent tried that in a while.

Yeah, they kick butt in dungeons. it's your soul puppet. it doesn't work as intended

it doesn't work on all bosses and it doesn't work on all adds but yeah.. My baby SW could out dps 3200 il gwf in dungeons when I was getting him his armor. I don't really enjoy playing it because it's all soul puppet..

How can you be sure they not taking advantige of the puppet? I'm pretty sure they do. Try to get bondings 12 + a striker companion and you should keep up.

Oh of course they are

My 2.5k SW has serious trouble soloing the smaller HEs in WoD but beats very well specced GWF's in ETOS - The only person who's out DPS'd my SW so far was another SW - lol. Yesterday I got 60 mil more on paingiver than a 3.6k TR. 60 mil! That's just wrong - lol.

Evidently not a dps toon. Same happened to me yesterday with another gwf on Throne: 3.8k+ (I'm 2.8K) and we topped the chart... He was first by less than 100k, and he was running like crazy.

I've had that in thrones too - my GWF is 2.5k and beat a 3k GWF. Ok, my guild has rank 8 boons which is a big help but my toon is using a regular plaguefire! Of course this is by no means always the case - my GWF usually comes 2nd place.

I'm using the Lia Knowles build btw.

uh, two so far on SW. I actually do better with a GF due to the buffs.
I've only done one or two T2s on my GWF but I was running thrones for boons and salvage on all characters.

I've never lost to an SW unless I'm taking it slowly and texting or some other distraction. I've lost EToS to a CW once.....this includes 3.5k SWs that I know are very good at their class.

Well, yesterday I ran eToS with my guildies, and the SW (2860) was runner-up behind my GWF (2830) by a good margin... It was until we fought the final boss that he ended up first by mere 50k. I have to say, though, I do not have the best companions for my build yet, I need to respec, and I do not have the twisted set (using Mulhorand while working to get it).

The only reason you should lose to a SW is if it's a buggy one shot SW setup.

Only issue with Throne and PoM are that the enemies are more or less broken up for two or more dps to split to each side splitting the damage, you might want to try another place if you chose to see who does more damage.
