Something wrong with Shield of Elemental Fire

Prior to the Maze patch I was refining my Shield of Elemental Fire. But after the patch there is no option to "refine" the shield to a higher level. I don't mean refining the enhancement. The option is still there to refine the mace, but not the shield. Did something break in the patch?

    From the sounds of things, it's a bug with all paladin off-hands. I expect this one will be fixed in the first post-mod patch as it's probably not something difficult to track down.

    My Pally is in the same boat as stated... and with 70 Black Pearls, 99 Flawless, 99x2 Resonance (rare) and 5 stacks of Peridots, I would have made orange on my shield... they really need to fix this NOW.

    Thanks to all who replied. Hopefully they will fix it soon or compensate the pallys for the inconvenience. Until then all zen purchases from me are frozen. I don't pay for broken games.

    Bump since I am exactly the same situation as others with bags full of upgrades saved especially for 2*rp weekend.

    How about transmute? They may not cover that if they just return a new Artifact Weapon (+ RP, +Greater Mark, +Pward/C-ward) instead of restoring back to original.

    Just got a reply to my ticket on this ... "known issue ... no fix date" ... there goes the 2xRP opportunity.

    blah, had to decide between off and main hand, bug made the decision for me :) bet ppl who have everything on legendary besides the offhand need to hope maintainence tomorrow fixes it.

    Pure -> Transcendent Plague Fire weapon enchantment giving 80damge/20 seconds for 500k+ AD is a joke.

    Do note that along with the change the stats are all the same from green to orange. Meaning if you have a maxed version, it became junk during this time. My blue shield is now equal to a green version.

    Actually if you look at there announcement they are apparently trying out a "fix" before the 2xrp hits and if it fails they will not be running 2xrp until it's fixed. Oh the announcement is at the top of the page :P

    "We're aware that Paladin Off-Hands currently cannot be refined. We have a fix in testing at the moment and plan to push it in tomorrow's maintenance before 2x RP. If we're not successful in fixing the issue, we'll postpone 2x RP until we can fix it"
