You cannot do the campaign before level 70 unless you had already unlocked it back when the level cap was 60. Yet there are skirmishes for Dread Ring and Sharandar that are for level 60-70.
Which is exactly what I said before. I fear repeating myself is futile, though, since you didn't catch this the first time around.
thats crazy cause i started while the cap was 70 and i was doing dread ring quests at level 67. keep repeating yourself... at least until you are giving the correct information.
I loved leveling 0-60, after 60 leveling is "do these quests over, and over and over". I'm having problems doing it on one character and can't seem to even think how bad it will be to try to do it on more than one.
Then there is the nerf to Astral Diamonds, guessing that people exploited or they just had too much being generated from Leadership, still seems like a drastic step to cut them out (do a mission that had diamonds in the title and nothing!) Just seems like they want to push you to do more daily activities to get diamonds, are the crafts worth anything at all?
Finally there is refining. First get all these things that give refining points, then you have to have all these stones that match what you want to upgrade. My bags run over with many things, except what is needed to upgrade my artifacts. Seems like these are locked up somewhere while my bags overflow with bound refining items.
Game has lost its fun and has become a repetitive bore, feels like I'm at an assembly line doing things over and over again. What am I missing?
TBH refining and upgrading is a very good concept. It's definitely an eastern MMO concept but a good one. You get a piece of gear and you can keep it growing in power thru refining. I like it in every Cryptic games.

It's lazy and has been played out now to death by all the devs and pubs. It encourages a p2w environment. In other words, it's easy and profitable.

How'd you get there? The zones aren't accessible until you hit 70, so unless you can tell me how you get there, with a fresh character, before level 70, then you're talking out your butt. If you can that's great, but on two characters now it's been impossible for me to get to Sharandar or Dread Ring before 70. And that's with having completed all of EE.
Except that having more than one alt at a time requires a zen purchase.
WRONG. To make a playable alt you only need to get to 70, get the artifact weapon/offhand from Spinward/Knox, get that weapon to blue and get level 70 blues from the AH or from running skirmishes. Rank 5-7s enchants are dirt cheap atm so go nuts. If you still can't do basic skirmishes like KR effectively using basic gear (and doing multiple KRs on a SINGLE character should net you AT LEAST 10k rough AD per day easy) what you actually need is to learn to play your character better. Seriously. With the Underdark HEs you be able to make at least 15-20k total rough AD easy, which means getting a Frost weapon enchant (VERY effective for solo PvE) and lesser Soulforged enchant in a few days. Getting your artifact gear to blue just means you need to start joining WoD dragon heralds runs. It took me only three weeks of 1-2 hour per day gaming to make two alts (fresh 70s) that can effectively do T2s. For the sake of testing (and for the guide I'm writing) they had ZERO support from my other characters - no sigils, no promo items, no gold, zilch. They're not topping DPS meters, but they're definitely pulling their weight. THAT is all it takes to make a good alt for current content. Hell, these could be decent mains for a new player.
Everything else is just extra eye candy atm.
You there. New to the game? Feeling overwhelmed? Maybe you think getting to end-game is impossible for a casual player like yourself, or maybe you just need to be around a community that helps each other stay sane and competitive with the latest news, current trends, random chitchat and most of all LEGIT (that is, we try to keep things fair) gameplay. No.
It requires time to gather rAD, refine rAD to AD, and then exchange AD to ZEN. What you do next with your ZEN is then up to you...
You could wait for a discount voucher from the daily refinement bags or a (weekly) sale, or something like the Black Friday or Cyber Monday sale, and then buy your character slots to get more for your ZEN.
Or you could go ViP and use the daily lockbox keys to get more AD throug selling the lockbox loot over the AH.
Btw. i got nearly (Hero of Neverwinter and the Hunter Ranger Booster Packs are "missing" atm.) all the packs from the ZEN shop for my account through the exchange of AD to ZEN...

You are, at best, splitting a non-existent hair here: even if you exchange AD into Zen, in order to get Zen shop items you must still purchase them from the zen store with zen! No one ever said "you have to spend real world money on this". We said you had to spend zen. Which is an unassailable truth. One way or another, acquiring more than one alt requires an expenditure, and you have to consider what the alternatives are as those alts may be way down your list of the most efficient and enjoyable ways to spend your AD/Zen. And, very importantly here, you must consider the time. As the adage goes: time is money. Not everyone can arbitrarily invest their time into this purchase, and then invest the time in the alts.
Okay here my 2 cents on it.. returning player after few months. Leveling from 0-60 is fine, even did 2 alts and enjoyed it, the 60-70 was a 1 time deal for me since its to repetitive.
Personally i dont mind the grind, in any game but the rewards in NW need to be revised.. example Celadaine, Wich fen.. why in the world would you want to do that every day? for 200XP and 50 copper??. The AD gain is fine i think, easily make 40-50k in a few hours, not even mentioning camping at AH buying- selling.
Refining, well it is what it is.. i got since WOD the mainhand - offhand - Neck and Belt, they have been BLUE forever , just managed to get Main weapon to 34+ lost a boat load (months or Shar & DR stuff) just to get there. This has to change, finding those green items in daylies - identify and get 0.01% is the problem.. its a problem when average player plays 2-3-4 hours a day wont even get 10-20% on a level for example a necklace - weapon or Belt.
If i play 4 hours would it be so bad for that effort you get a least 1 level??.. max level for a neck/belt is 60=4.645.000 rp, so those silly few greens you find isn't gonna cut it before you are 102 yrs old, this is probably the frustration for many players.
Not talking i want mah Mythic next week or next month, there is a difference in progress 0.1% and 10%.. thats all im saying.
I really want to get on my 2 lvl 60's alts and go for it, but at the moment no thanks.

Actually, you are the ones splitting hairs here. Zen = Time or Money. Atm, the rates are completely reasonable, in part because events are here to stay. Choose one or both. Or are you arguing that the game should be completely F2P? And you actually start with THREE character slots. You get two extra from services for each purchase, and if you're an established player getting more should not be a problem especially if you wait for promos/sales/discounts, which happen relatively often. Newbies should already have their hands full juggling two alts and a main to worry about anything else.
Also, you are NOT playing WoW. In Neverwinter extra character slots gives you great short and long term benefits, which is why you start with fewer of them. You are playing a different MMO, the rules are different here.

If you run WoD heralds for a few weeks (casual, you get there much earlier if you play often) getting to epic (purple) artifact gear is a given. Getting to legendary requires more planning though (mostly stockpiling, leveling leadership and waiting for X2 RP).
Still, it is reasonable to ask that artifact gear RP rewards should be more spread out. At the very least you should be able to get them from doing campaigns or perhaps some of the skirmishes/dungeons, perhaps as an alternative to the default rewards.

And you actually start with THREE character slots.
No. You don't. You get two. I'm guessing you are confused (big surprise!) by having paid money for zen and gotten a first time buyer's pack. This gives you an extra character slot (and a retraining etc.). Which is easy to confuse for what you actually get as a base, if you don't actually understand what it is you are talking about in the slightest.

Well, if essenti meant the exchange of AD to ZEN to buy character slots, he/she should have wrote that clearly in the first place. But atm., i can only read and then comment on what is actually there.
And yes, you start with 2 character slots, but you can get more character slots by just playing the game. Btw. there's also a discount voucher for character slots in the level 50+ adventurer box.
Anyway, you don't have to sink real money into the game for character slots.
Edit: About leveling artifact equipment/weapons, just collect the RP stones you can get from drops, refinement bags and campaign quests, rank your equipment only to rare, and from then just feed the green junk you come across playing into them, until another 2x RP event is active, and then pour all the RP stones into them.

I'll restate so that you can see what is actually there:
"Without a zen purchase most players can only have 1 alt slot in addition to their main. To even have more than 1 alt slot requires purchase through the zen store..."
At no point did I state anything about spending real world money, I very clearly stated "zen purchase," which makes no claim about how that zen was acquired. I made no inferences about how this impacts having multiple alts, I was simply trying to correct misinformation.
Campaign - Trail of the Imaskarcana (NWS-DMFG77QOF)
... and you didn't state clearly, that you meant the AD to ZEN exchange either. When i ask around in game, and only toss out the words "ZEN purchase" most players give me the same answer... use the ARC webpage or Steam. There was not one saying, hey use the ZEN to AD exchange to purchase ZEN.
Now that we have that cleared up, we might get to the point, where we can all agree on the fact, that getting more character slots can be done without spending real money. And getting ZEN with AD has become very easy with the ZAX being around 400 AD for 1 ZEN, and the exchange itself being instant.
Last but not least, if a player keeps his expectations reasonable, he can still have fun playing NWO without grinding around the clock or spending money.

I didn't clearly state a real money transfer either. I made NO distinction about how ZEN is purchased, only that it is, in fact, purchased. Whether purchased through the AD exchange or the ARC RMT exchange does not make my statement any more true or false. In either case, you are still purchasing ZEN by exchanging one currency for another. The method of acquiring ZEN is irrelevant to the fact that it must be spent to get extra slots for alts, and this fact remains true regardless of how many people you can muster to misunderstand the phrase "ZEN purchase" when taken completely out of context in a glorious attempt to win the internet.

Celadaine is actually pretty good RP with lots of skill nodes, shard and Thaumeturge Stones and possibly Blink Dog at the end. I always run it on new toon until I get the Blink Dog. Also I run Celadaine during 2xRP events.

Erm, nope. It's a repetitive grind fest. Some[most?] of recycled content.
The elemental weapon mote grind was rough -- 100 of those things. Then they increased the HE cooldowns LMFAO. I got the drowned weapon every other zone-jumper was trying to get back when it was a well-communicated zerg and the timers weren't nerfed. I don't think I could do it now. My g/f is trying to get the fire weapon. Every night of trying to get invites of filled zones and waiting 5,15,20 minutes to get one single mote out of 100; she wants to throw her keyboard.
