my blue "mace" (transmuted to the sword of elemental air) could use the ability to be dyed. Other than that this looks awesome. great function addition!
I hope we will be able to preview dye packs as well with this feature. I would also like to see an option to deconstruct dye packs on to their respective colors as single color bottles. This would be a great addition to alchemy crafting. Depending on how successful the deconstruction is the more of the colors in the pack can you get. And if a critical success it will make the color available in more then one channel. As well as adding the option to craft single color dye bottles. It can be single channel dyes, like either primary, secondary or Accent. Depending on how successful the outcome is you could add an other channel. How often these crafting projects would be available is depending on what is fair. You should also allow us to design a guild weapon that can be worn on shields, capes, garbs, banners, flags etc. And you should make it free to change our character's appearance like you have in Star Trek Online and Champions Online. Also make it possible to disable all item visuals. You should also make all Zen store fashion items be account unlocks not character unlocks.
It's a nice new feature. It would be great if it also apply colours and dyes to show them. And more than one. An example: I want to preview my armor with Doomguide dye pack, but also add blue colour over the brown parts.
Edited: Also, it would be nice to change the category visual/look of our armor enhancements... like we can chose the appareance of our companions (if we have their categories unlock). Some high rank stones like Soulforged and Negation, cover almost all of our look. Nevermind if you dyed your set with a shinny and colourful combination, if you have a Soulforged, you look almost black, and if you have a Negation you look white/light blue. Other stones like Elven Battle doesn't have this "problem".

A checkbox for *how we want to appear to others* .. For all gear/fashion/enchantment effects. The 'collections' screen becomes the 'catalog' screen for me to scroll through all the looks and pick/buy the ones that 'define' my character.
Different tabs for powers/gear loadouts. eg, A PVE tab with my PVE armor and PVE powers. and, A PVP tab with my PVP armor and PVP powers.
I'll pay 1000 zen for each additional tab. I'll take 1 additional Arsenal tab, and maybe 2 additional Appearance tabs.
3000 zen. =X just for the tabs. Haven't even started paying for the fashion yet.
