IWD Treasure cache 'Black Ice' epic gear isn't worth any AD from Salvage

So I just picked up a few of the new IWD Treasure cache's and had the very good fortune to find some Epic Black ice gear, a belt and a ring. I thought to myself, I wonder if these are worth any AD, seeing that there was no 'Salvageable' tool tip on the items I assumed the option would not be enabled. So you can imagine my surprise when it was and they were actually not worth any AD at all. Literally, Zero AD. Are they supposed to be worth something or is the salvage function not supposed to be permitted on these items? (See attached images.)

    that's weird, I haven't even attempted any dungeons or used any new gear. I only just realized that there was new gear in the dungeons when the queue page came up. I heard the dungeons are really hard now but I haven't tried any of them.

    Black Ice gear used to be able to be salvaged -- but you would only get black ice in return. I haven't salvaged any BI gear for quite a while, so I'm not sure if that's still true.

    I haven't salvaged any BI gear either, but will confirm that it used to be worth nothing more than a pittance of raw black ice. It was better to use as RP. If I got any of these items now, I'd feed them to the Stronghold.
