... what purpose would closing the ZAX fulfill? It would just make it so that the ONLY way to get things from the zen shop is to use real money, and the ONLY way to get AD would be to grind hours upon hours for it. Do you really think people would be okay with that?
Do you think mid class players will pay that much zen to blood rubies or other stuff while there is unbound RP stones ingame. They will turn to buy AD instead of zen when they need to buy their RP for their artifacts and also lockbox system will die in a week if people cant buy enchanted keys with earned AD

Impossible. The idea behind the ZAX is that people can earn currency in game to then spend in the Zen store. If you close the ZAX, then it's impossible to earn anything from the Zen store in game. It all has to be purchased.
A tenet of Neverwinter is being able to exchange currency so that people who chose to spend more time and no money can still earn Zen to spend in the store.

All the Zen being sold on the ZAX was purchased for cash by players, then exchanged. So Zen isn't generated (and thus can't be traded) unless at some point someone buys Zen from PWE, which is where they make their money.
Some might pull out their offers but people are also selling Zen with huge amount right now. They buy zen with RL money and exchange it to AD and buy RP stones from AH or other stuff they need. You can also see sell offers from 500-499ad most of the time
Player bought ZEN (for cash), after that he decided to sell ZEN. Ok.
In this way are two generators:
- 1st players in game generate AD for free - 2nd players for cash generate ZEN.
Because of quantity of 2nd players much less than quantity of 1st, ZEN have permanently increase in AD price. Right ?
Was 200 AD for ZEN, now - 500 AD for ZEN. Right ?
PLAYERS IN GAME GENERATE AD MUCH FASTER THAN PLAYERS GENERATE ZEN. Clear ?
So why do you want to close ZAX.Support limiting AD generation,Rally people for raising Zen cap.AD exchange works both ways.Yes we buy zen with ingame AD but people also buy AD with their ZEN because they dont want to grind RP stone or make enchantments by themselves or they dont want to deal with PVE and all its bugs, trolls or PUGS to gear up for PVP

They're killing that idea anyway with removing AD from LS. They might as well go fully nuts, and remove the ZAX on their way out.
And i'm still waiting on the answer on your assignment: Goal: 240k AD per day Time: 1-3hrs per day Restrictions: No special loot drops, no PvP, character level between 20 and 60, with the new AD "rewarding" system in place of course. and the clock is ticking.
Let me clear. Was 200 AD for ZEN, now - 500 AD for ZEN. Right ?

Zen should be rarer then zen.We have no lifers,we have low life botters.Zen is real life money so it will always worth then your ingame money and your time because your time doesnt worth anything if you can spend on a game(same for me) because they are running a bussines and they need money so ZEN always be rarer.I am playing this game more than one year.I was here mod5 came online and even then zen is close to now and never saw AD limit go down less than 495 AD per Zen.It might BE 200 zen because there was nothing worth actually buying before. There was AD sinks but not this much.I spend more than 500k for just preservation wards ,in this 2x RP.I dont even count GMOPs RP stones rank 4 enchantments.
And people won't continue spending money on ZEN for AD, when the exchange rate drops too much. They either buy directly from botters, the only winners of this change in the end, and get more AD for real money. Or they buy directly from the ZEN shop, and either use the items for themself or sell it on the auction house for AD.
Or they just move on to another game, and spend their money there.
- percent of players which buy 3rd party AD is very very low - I am sure - not possible to generate AD by exploits (now)
- how much ZEN average player buy per month?
Low?They are selling AD with trillions not millions.Search "Neverwinter Botting Data" on Google. There is a site calculate botters income just from AH. This weeks amount was 1,070,837,709 AD.This was an estimation.Lets call it 600m.You are misjudging depths of wallet warriors pockets. There were PVP players who spend money saying he can buy a luxury sport car in his country with the money he invested in this game

Such items like Services must to be available for AD.
Your opinion, community ? Pro and con.
Don't you think Neverwinter is unstable enough? I'm tired of the constant re-working of the system. I think the "Neverwinter Universe" should stabilize a bit before any more half-witted changes occur. And that includes Scott Schicoff's plan.

Does that make it any clearer for you?
