Question: Why is this event tied to Pacific times? You do have european players too you know and players from God knows where, not just americans, yet you tailored this event for americans only to enjoy. Us europeans can get 1-2 events in then we gotta go to bed for next day's work, but no more than that. It would've been a lot more fair to make the starting point of the event a few hours earlier so we can benefit from it too a bit more. This way you can bet that many european players will either quit or be very behind their american counterparts when guild gear is concerned.

I have my suspicions that that denoted start time is keyed to the launch date (assuming launch really actually happens at 10am pst on Aug 11 and doesn't get delayed by problems), and from then on will be every 2 hours, FOREVER. You can buy the stupid bells if every 2 hours isn't often enough for your liking in a single day.
In other words, don't get your knickers in a bunch about it.
Edit: They could edit the article to make that a little more clear.

As Beckylunatic pointed out, the time posted is just for a point of reference, the event will run every two hours, forever, starting at 10:30 AM PDT. For reference that's 5:30 PM GMT. So for example, it will run again at 12:30 PM PDT (7:30 GMT) and so on. There is no intent to give any one region an advantage.

Thanks for info , dragon run must be fast , i hope there is no lag at all .
waiting the update , good luck have fun
My strategy? Completely ignore the content.
If it's not soloable or PUGable it's HAMSTER.
And that excess over 20 players thing? So silly and storyline unexplainable that the "mysterious wizard" is the most pathetic and overplayed ploy of all time...:(
From what I'm seeing, at a minimum, 3 more currencies to clog up our currency bag (without any exchange and consolidation effort for yrs or any ever in sight), Zen sink, lagfest , more exploits, more nerfs (oops "balance tweeks") and continued player frustration from unaddressed bugs in current content.

The one minute timer before they flee only begins when the first dragon is killed. You'll have up to ten minutes to whittle them down before that.

Sorry, guess I'm a pessimist.
