The "double page load" thing was not there when we initially switched over to Vanilla. Something changed later.
I use Firefox and when I open a thread in a new tab I initially see the title of the thread on the tab and the text very briefly at 100% scale then the page reloads (or is redirected), the tab title changes to "ARC Games" and the text displays at my chosen size of 120%.
So I think there is a second page load that puts the ARC header stuff at the top of the page. If you CTRL-A to "select all" it only selects that top header bit, which also did not happen when we first moved across.
It's a bit kakky but workable I guess.
I have this same issue as well. It started just a couple of days ago. Not exactly sure when but was definitely not there when we switched. Whatever they did, I wish they would fix it or undo it. Reloading the page every time is a bit annoying to say the least.
