Change from MoF to SS - opinion/advise?

Hi!!

Me again, feel like i post so much asking questions these days.

Anyway, lvl 67 MoF CW now. Relatively low gear and poor at the moment but i'm going to start farming and hopefully getting more money/AD when I get to lvl 70.

I'm currently a MoF build, cause i guess I'm not the sort of person who gets the satisfaction of bam bam bam. I rather slowly burn people to death.

Anyway, question is, i'm starting to find it difficult to solo and it's kind of hard to always find a party and grind whenever I want to. So i'm thinking of changing my build to SS so I can farm things by myself and get some decent equipment. Then maybe i'll change back to MoF?

What are all your advise/opinions?

Why do you think SS can solo easier than MoF?

I wouldn't change just because doing your dailies is becoming a bit slower. Instead, I'd ask in Zone (/z) or Looking for Group (/LFG) to party up with one or more players. I do that all the time on my HR (Spinward is tough as an Archery HR solo).

I have both an SS Renegade and a MoF thaum and I play both differently. What are your leveling encounters that you run (typically)?
    I aim to misbehave

Um.......because from what I've read, SS does alot of burst damage which is good a killing mobs. But MoF is like slowly burning them. I'll probably have died when it slowly burns them to the ground.

Yeah i went for MoF Thaum as well.

Leveling encounters, you mean my encounter powers? I use tabbed COI, ice terrain, steal time and shard usually.

At-wills is chilling cloud and Ray of frost though I never use this.

Dallies is OP and Ice knife.

Class features - critical conflagration and swath of destruction.

One of my main concern is how squishy I am. I keep getting 1 shot in Sharanda and even by some wizard-like in Reclaimation rock.

Soloing with CW isn't as easy as it used to be, I can't see MoF being better than SS for this.

When I was leveling my alt Thaum, I didn't have many problems (only trash blue weapons). My trick was in the rotation:

cast shard, cast coi, push shard, teleport in, icy terrain, teleport out, mop up with steal time & at wills.

For the key feats I had Spell Twisting, Icy Veins, Transcended Master (ie buffed shard).

I was using Storm Spell & Eye of the Storm or Chilling Presence (my crit was only about 35%).
