CW was the sole uncontested class in both PvP and PvE for the longest time around. TR at least had some bad times.

So stop bickering and form a consensus on my suggestion: Remove Shadowy Opportunity totally for the Saboteuer
Sabos don't need it. If they want piercing damage, they can slot Oppressive Darkness. The way how OppDark is, is most likely what the devs originally intended for piercing damage (if not, it's the way it should be) -- small amounts of damage that bypass defense layers, so even it is weak, it still becomes a reliable method of delivering certain amounts of steady damage despite very high target defenses.
This is how it is portrayed in almost EVERY major MMOG that has similar concepts, usually referred to as armour piercing damage in other games. Small, medium amounts of damage that becomes more efficient than other high-damage attacks if your target is especially tough or evasive. So if you Sabos need piercing, they can choose OppDarkness like any other TRs can. If it means giving up one of your favorite class features, then tough, it's a choice to be made like any other player makes.
Sabos don't need SO. They shouldn't have it. If their main selling point is in their extremely stealthiness which makes them so hard to kill, that's fine by me. Be the best node contestant as it is, that's also fine by me. They shouldn't have that damage, much the same how paladins have been nerfed with DJ. If they want to deal that damage, let them use major offensive encounters and close-range at-wills like DF, to take RISKS... instead of pushing one button down from invisibility at 60' range and killing everything.

There we go. First off a Saboteur is not the ranged path... yet they used CoS more than any Wk I have come up against. Yes... I can tell the difference. I believe any decent TR can tell the difference between a MI-Sab, a Wk-Sab, a MI-Exec and a Wk-Exec... just from fighting them.
